It had been raining cats, dogs, and mice that spring morning. A sudden flood of rain and she flooded by her numerous thoughts.

"Jenny shut down the windows", asked Mom while rushing to another room to check the windows of the other room.

Jenny looked at her phone and thought about her appointment. The meeting that she had been planning to have for the last 4months. Moreover, it will be postponed for the third time if she cancels her appointment again.

Looking at the clock, she thought, 1 pm already, 3 more hours to go for the appointment. Jenny and her mind had been doing the talking for quite a long time now.

Mom called out everyone for lunch. Everybody got their bowls and plates filled in. After a long time, it was a family day, when everyone was home. Jenny’s sister exclaimed at Jenny "Aah! the menu is 'someone's' favorite!" Then, Mom shared an incident from years ago, when she changed Jenny's favorite fixed birthday meal menu, and how Jenny decided not to share her cake with mom that day, and the room was filled with giggles and laughter, reminiscing old memories.

Meanwhile, Jenny was lost, unable to figure out if she liked something this much! She nodded without expressions. For her, this was just another rainy day, just another day at home, and just another lunch with everyone.

Everybody went back to their room for the afternoon nap. Jenny opened her diary in which she had been jotting down the conversations she had been having with her mind lately.

It was 3:30 pm, Jenny was ready to leave, almost. No signs of rain to stop. When she was getting an umbrella from the storeroom, Mom asked, "Where you off? The rains have not yet stopped. It looks like it will not stop for at least a couple of hours. You will catch a cold."

Jenny, already loaded with her thoughts, realized how we prepare ourselves for something that does not exist but might happen, and how we are unable to notice the already existing issues or if something is unusual than always. At this moment, Jenny was so sure that she would make it to her therapist today.

Jenny left, saying she had to discuss something important that she had been avoiding due to the fear of judgment. But not anymore. She was going through a lot, which she failed to express, and others around her failed to notice.

For the largest part of the world, physical health is the only health. The fact that mental health is directly related to physical health is still on the way to reaching a lot of people. The larger part of the world ignores the different emotions they feel. And quite a large part believes that there are no such things as mental health issues.

A small part of the world knows the severity of mental health issues. The smaller part of the world is taking steps to overcome and is working towards its awareness. The smallest part is ready to accept their mental illness and talk about it.

In today's busy life, when spending time with loved ones comes after prioritizing work, there is a need to sit and talk to people who can understand and guide without judging.

“Everyone talks about the health, education, jobs, and recession,

But why are people not so vocal in discussing depression?

There seems to be fear of judgment in the air,

But ignoring and keeping it to oneself is just not fair.

Every problem has a solution and cure,

One needs to face it, talk it out for sure.

Patiently hearing and not judging is quite hard,

But I will be all ears to those who need me with all my heart.

I hope it might help somebody when they are falling apart,

I hope it might help them to feel better and might loosen the burden from their emotions' cart”...
