Is She Flirty or Just Friendly?

...her body language never lies.

Are you on the lookout for love and want to avoid getting the wrong impression?

Awkward moments happen so many times when you think a girl likes you, and then she tells you she was just being friendly. It’s awful and embarrassing at the same time.

However, women are such mystifying beings, so it’s rather hard for you to recognize the signals on the receiving end.

While all women have different ways of showing their affection, women in Asia are known to be honest and direct. Then again, the way they express their feelings for someone can vary from person to person.

Formality is often appreciated in Asian dating culture. Kissing or hugging feels unnatural and hard for them to do. In fact, showing physical affection in public is often frowned upon in their society.

Have you noticed the way romantic Asian films have less intimate scenes than movies in the west?

It’s not to say Asians aren’t flirty, though. In fact, it is rather easier to tell whether an Asian woman is flirting with you or just being friendly.

Her eyes say it all

In contrast to the western dating culture, Asians usually express their love through the so-called old-fashioned way.

For example, your Asian girlfriend may find it very charming of you to ask permission from her family to take her out on a date on a certain day, rather than straight up asking her if she wants to go out with you.

Aside from the way she appreciates your efforts in doing that, her body language never lies.

Many people have said that the way to tell whether a woman is flirting with you is through the way she acts around you.

It can be shown in a lot of ways, either through a touch of the hand, a quick smack on your cheek, or the way she stares at you for a much longer time than needed.

Her touch can be subtle, yet it can also be a ritualized invitation for you to do the same to her.

Here’s an additional perk, you may be able to hint that she is serious about you when she starts showing all these non-verbal gestures. She wouldn’t go to the trouble if she didn’t like you in the first place.

The topic of your conversation

The things you talk about is another way to distinguish between friendship and a potential romantic relationship.

There’s something about a particular topic that gets you two so engaged. While you can always talk to a friend for hours on end, the way the conversation flows between you and her has a different kind of feel.

She might want to talk about more personal subjects and would openly dig deeper into getting to know you. Of course, this is if she feels comfortable with you.

She might also look at you in a way she doesn’t look at anyone else, speak in a softer tone, or wear a meaningful smile exclusively for you to see.

She acts silly and goofy around you

One of the ways to make casual interactions last is by playing a joke to put away the seriousness.

She may act all playful and laugh as a response to your joke in a way that is so captivating. She would, in return, make you laugh to make your bond even more outgoing.

The spark is there

Love can be recognized in so many ways. However, there is only one language that speaks for both people, and that is if they love one another sincerely.

It’s the spark.

You might want to know whether you were right about your impressions, but hardly anything can go wrong when both of you enjoy each other’s company.

Just the thought of being together sparks joy in your hearts.

All developing relationships start out from a friendly venture after all, which will, in time, gradually turn into love.
