The notion of using correct language by following grammar rules and having a rich vocabulary is highly romanticized in our culture.

Not good with memory has ever caused any anxiety when using language(s) to communicate effectively? Societies and cultural norms validate the importance of using the correct language. Correctness of language has many definitions, for instance, following proper structure, having a standardized accent, using proper tense, abiding by grammar rules, and expecting to understand words in their denotative definitions. It is an unfair expectation to hold from people, whether native speakers or non-native speakers of a language.

Understanding the complications in mastery of a language is a complicated domain. You do not understand what you have to master more and the extent of what. What do you have as an opportunity cost? The case is even worse when you are bilingual or multilingual. How can you be proficient with language by being proficient in all of its skills and subskills? How can you communicate intelligibly by using the correct pronunciation, proper grammar, possession of high vocabulary, and knitting the words in the perfect structure — altogether? Something inevitably has to be missed, but what deserves the margin to be missed?

It is significant to consider the contrasting dichotomies that judge the role of language in a rigid, static, strict, conservative, and not creative way.

Communication is the reason people live. Language is not all communication; instead, it is merely a tool used in communication. Language used to communicate can be one or more than one. It can also be sign language, through the use of symbols, or it can be a piece of art. It can be a traffic sign through graphical and visual representation. The essential purpose language serves is communication. Communication is the basic need of human beings. Human Beings communicate and need to communicate for different reasons or without reason. Their primary communication source is through language, but it does not mean they do not communicate otherwise. How they communicate with or without language is intriguing.

We need to communicate on different platforms and for multiple purposes.

However, we need to pay more attention to the power of having an understanding of the context in different situations. It is not about it, not just about literary devices, not just about language, not just about speaking, not just about writing; it is simply about Coherence, which is equally crucial for the other two not taken into consideration, receptive skills: listening and reading. Contextual understanding contributes to speaking, writing, listening, and reading. Instead, it serves its role in comprehending what is heard, read, spoken, written, or even conveyed using sign language.

The intent is to appreciate the various lenses through which content can be perceived, whether within its context or from different angles. Language insight delves into the study of the profound connection between language and the surrounding contexts where it finds its voice.

Media plays a pivotal role in bridging gaps for effective communication.

People today communicate in diverse ways through various mediums, including multimedia, digital media, and social media. With technological advancements and globalization, looking at things from different perspectives is essential to understand them better and avoid barriers to effective communication or miscommunication.

Human beings continue to yearn for communication until the end of their lives.

It is interesting to discuss how the pursuit of perfection in language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, can lead to anxiety, especially in a multilingual context. There are diverse ways in which people communicate beyond language such as through art, symbols, or visual representation. Moreover, attention is drawn to the evolving landscape of communication in the digital age, where various mediums, including multimedia and social media, play crucial roles.
