Moving to a new home is as exciting a stage as it is overwhelming. From unpacking luggage to furnishing and decorating your home, there are so many things to do and do!

To be able to organize yourself as well as possible and to arrange your house as soon as possible, you need to establish a plan from the very beginning and know what to start with.

Very important, before you move:

Tag, tag, tag!

If you have packaged by category, you will want to know what is in each box and what room it should be in.

Put a label or mark with the marker directly on the box what kind of things are inside (cutlery / glasses) and the room you need to get to (bedroom, living room, dressing room, kitchen, etc.).

Although you may think that you will remember it easily, keep in mind that you will have a lot to do and it will be quite difficult for you to know what is in a box that says "Miscellaneous".

Here are some tips to help you enjoy your new home as soon as possible:

Start with the basics

The first and most important task you have to check is to furnish the house, starting with the large pieces of furniture. That means you have to choose the bed, the kitchen furniture, the wardrobe and, of course, the big appliances.

Although the effort you put in at the beginning is greater, even financially, once you get past this task it will be much easier for you to organize. You can also apply for a personal loan if you think that your savings will not be enough to get your whole house ready and move as quickly as possible.

Unpack one box at a time

Once the furniture is in place, it's time to unpack. To make it easier for you, you should already have all the things packed and sorted in boxes after each room. Then it's up to you to decide which room to start with.

If you have small children, you can start with their rooms, especially if they are small and you need to arrange a crib in which to have a place to sleep until you finish unpacking. Then you can continue with the bedroom, kitchen, living room, and hallway.

Sort while unpacking

In order not to wake up at the end, after you have put all the things in their place, that you have to take each room in a row again to collect the garbage, try to do these two tasks alternately. Use a few empty boxes to store packaging or things you no longer need, while unpacking and organizing your home.

In addition, moving to a new home is an opportunity to sort out useful things that you no longer use, so you can take advantage of the moment to make a general order.

Leave the decoration at the end

Once you have put each object in its place, it is time to let your imagination run wild and move on to the pleasant side of any move. It is good to take care of the decoration of the house at the end because you have an overview of each room and it will be easier for you to figure out which accessories and decorative objects are suitable. In addition, you should always start with the choice of practical objects and end with the arrangement.

From colorful pillows to flower pots and scented candles, they will all help you create a welcoming home where you can feel good and relax every night.

Even if it will take a few days before you can move into the new house, with a concrete plan from the very beginning it will be easier for you to finish the arrangement of the house.
