How can we create a society full of kindness
Kindness and Humanity
I don’t believe we can. People have a natural aversion to conflict and so they won’t speak up if they see something wrong. To get a society full of kindness, we would need everyone to proactively stop or speak out against harming one another. For various reasons such as it, it's not their business, afraid to get involved, preoccupied with their problems, bitter because no one helped them when they were in trouble etc. The list of reasons is countless but it all boils down to one thing - no one feels that it's their responsibility to deal with it as it is not in our nature to put someone else before ourselves.
This principle is why the human race has had so many periods where a mass amount of people are subjugated by a small group of despotic rulers. People are herd animals and they do what the majority do and they avoid conflict whenever they can. They would rather live on their knees than jeopardize their safety by speaking out against tyranny.
Even to this day, we have developing nations that are governed informally by warlords with the territory and they rule through fear and intimidation. People may talk of rebelling but again history has shown us time and time that at the most critical hour of a rebellion often the support does not show up and those rebels get made an example which further entrenches people's minds that they must stay quiet, hear no evil and see no evil. It is for the aforementioned reasons that a society full of kindness is impossible.
Kindness is a quality that people can develop. It is a state of being that is characterized by sympathy, compassion, and the desire to help others. It can also be defined as a feeling of warmth or affection for others. Kindness can be seen in all aspects of life, from our interactions with friends and family to the way we treat strangers. The need for kindness has been growing over time because it helps us feel less lonely, less sad, and more content with our lives. There are many ways to become kinder in your daily life - whether you are an individual or part of a community or society. Some ways include volunteering at an animal shelter, donating money to charities, or teaching children about kindness through stories and games. Individuals or communities can also take action to be kinder to others in the world - such as adopting animals, volunteering at a soup kitchen, or donating clothes to a homeless shelter. Some people might feel that they don't have time for kindness because they are too busy with work and school. However, it can be argued that being kind is important because it helps improve the lives of everyone and can reduce the stress levels of those around us.
