She sat in anticipation as her workshop was about to start. The energy in the room was reverberating with sheer joy. Some of her class members already knew each other, and others were meeting for the first time. One thing was clear: they all had a soul connection and an intrinsic desire to savor the present moment. In Ontario, in this room, with each other. They all sat eagerly awaiting to absorb the live teachings of their meditation teachers.

And then it happened. She heard a loud creak and the door opened. Standing in the doorway was the man she left 2 and a half years ago. The man she was still madly in love with. They'd had no contact in that time frame, but deep in her soul she knew he was the one for her. She'd seen and heard his name incessantly during their seemingly time apart. And there he was. She arose, ran over to him and hugged him. She whispered in his ear, "I never got to hug you goodbye so I am making up for lost time." They meet each other's gaze. To her surprise, she feels a sense of ease and calmness with him now. Not the overwhelming rush of anxiety that was there before. At this moment she felt like the happiest girl on Earth; eternally grateful to have found this school, community and meditation teachers. She knew this meeting was not chance but synchronicity. Synchronicity as a result to inner healing and divine timing.

As they parted, he backed up for a moment. He told her that he missed her terribly, but he tried to fight his feelings. He told her he honestly never saw himself as a married man. He always aligned being married with loss of freedom. He had a terrible relationship in college where he was manipulated. His ex girlfriend pretended she was pregnant. She then revealed this stunt was all a "joke" after he already told his parents she was pregnant. This colored his perception of all women from that point on.   After a while he wanted to reach out to her, but so much time had passed and he didn't know what to say. His own self doubt had left him paralyzed, and stuck playing out different scenarios in his head. He wanted to gain a sense of control over the situation, but he couldn't. And then he had this really strong urge to go to Ontario on this day to find her. A sense of urgency.

He got down on one knee and said, "From the day I first saw you I was deeply drawn to you. Even though I've only known you a short period of time, it feels like I've known you all my life. Our connection is so incredibly strong. And through our separation I have come to realize just how much you mean to me and will always mean to me. Will you marry me?"

Her eyes immediately started to well up with tears. Yes! She exclaimed. I will marry you! And then she looked around and said, "These teachings really work! D.T. and I haven't spoken in over two years! D.T. replied, "What are you talking about..... Why is this being recorded.....?" So she said, "You don't know this yet, but you have an audience of people who do healing work in order to unite/reunite with their one true love! Because love never fails and we are living proof! We are helping hundreds of people; please share this moment with them." And he did. And then he kissed her. For the first time. And she kissed someone new. For the last time.
