Slowly descending behind the distant mountains, the suns final light fades away with a hue of brilliant colors. As the sky changes from a blue to black stars begin to appear and off to the east the moon makes its appearance. As he looks at the beautiful woman walking next to him her eyes light up from the moons glow as the stars dance silently above her head. She smiles back at him and he can't believe he was walking down the boulevard with a woman he never knew until this morning,

His name was K.C. and he was on his way to work when he decided that he would stop for a coffee. As he entered the establishment the door swung open and nailed him in the forehead knocking him back on his ass as a young woman rushed bye apologizing as she ran off. Slowly picking himself up, he brushed off the dirt and felt the large bump forming on his forehead as he looked around wondering who hit him and then went in and ordered his coffee. As K.C. felt the bump on his forehead one more time he decided to grab a table and have his coffee there till the pain subsided.

“Excuse me”, he heard someone say and he looked up from his coffee and noticed the same girl the just ran him over.

“Sorry to bother you again, I just wanted to apologize once again for hitting you with the door and just running off”, she said, but all K.C. could do was sit there and stare at her beauty. Why would this beautiful woman want to talk to me? (He thought to himself)

“Excuse me, but did you hear me?” she asked again sounding a bit agitated.

“I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to ignore you, and no, there's no need to apologize. I should have been watching where I was going”, K.C. responded. My name is K.C. and it's a pleasure to meet you”.

“My name is Amber”, she replied. “But I am running late for work, here's my number, text me later”, she said as her cheeks turned red and she was gone.

K.C. was on his lunch break when he thought about Amber and sent her a quick text. She responded almost immediately and they traded a few texts til he finally built up enough courage to ask her out on a date that evening and she accepted. After saying good-bye to her he called up and made reservations at the new restaurant down on the boulevard overlooking the valley.

K.C. nervously walked up to her apartment and lightly knocked on the door. It seemed like hours it took her to open the door before she stood before him, “You look beautiful!” he stammered out as she giggled, “You're not bad yourself”, she replied standing there before him with her long red hair draping over her shoulders and caressing her breasts. She wore a short silver strapless dress which showed of her figure and long legs.

“Shall we go my dear, reservations are at eight”, he said as she grabbed her shawl off the back of the chair.

This brings us back to the boulevard as they walked in the moonlight towards the River Valley Restaurant. They arrived at the restaurant and the waiter showed them to their table which was located on the balcony overlooking the valley and the river below. “This is so beautiful”, Amber said as she kissed you on the cheek and you pulled her chair for her to sit down.

“Would you care for something to drink while waiting for your meal?” the waiter asked.

“Yes please”, K.C. replied. “Bring us a bottle of you finest Merlot, slightly chilled please”. A short time later the waiter returned and poured them their wine.

“A toast to you my dear, a beautiful and charming lady that I didn't know till today by a chance encounter and that I hope to get to know better in the future.” K.C. said as he raised his glass and lightly clinked it with Ambers.

“Yes, only time will tell but I do hope it will be a lasting relationship as well”, she replied. After a short conversation their food arrived and they mad small talk while they ate. After their meal they grabbed their glasses and went over by the railing and continued to enjoy each others company as the moon and stars shone above and lit up the valley below. The night air began to cool off as Amber shivered and K.C. grabbed her shawl from the back of her chair and wrapped it around her shoulders as she finished off her glass of wine.

“Are you ready fro me to take you home?” he asked as he took her hand in his and began to walk down the boulevard. The night was quiet and you could hear the crickets in the distance as they walked along quietly and she wrapped her arm around his tightly and smiled into the night. When they finally arrived at her apartment K.C. held Amber in his arms, caressing her check with his hand he looked into her beautiful blue eyes and gently kissed her goodnight.

“Thank you for a wonderful first date and I hope to see you again soon”, he said as she slowly closed the door and he walked away into the night.
