BEAUTY IN THE EYES

The girl in the library

By Precious OlokpoPublished 6 days ago 3 min read

Once upon a time, in a small town nestled in the rolling hills of the countryside, there lived a young woman named Ava. Ava was a kind and gentle soul, with a heart full of love and a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. She worked as a librarian at the local library, surrounded by books and patrons who adored her.

One day, while out on a walk, Ava stumbled upon a handsome young man named Elijah. Elijah was a successful businessman who had just moved to the town to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. He was immediately drawn to Ava's beauty and grace, and he knew in that moment that he had to make her his.

For weeks, Elijah found excuses to visit the library, hoping to catch a glimpse of Ava. He would browse through the shelves, pretending to be interested in books, all the while stealing glances at the beautiful librarian. Ava, oblivious to Elijah's admiration, would smile and greet him, never suspecting that he was falling deeply in love with her.

Finally, Elijah worked up the courage to ask Ava out on a date. He approached her at the circulation desk, his heart pounding in his chest, and asked her if she would like to join him for dinner. Ava, taken aback by the sudden request, hesitated for a moment before agreeing.

Their date was a magical one. They talked for hours, sharing stories and laughter, and getting to know each other on a deep and meaningful level. Ava was swept off her feet by Elijah's charisma and charm, and Elijah was smitten with Ava's intelligence and beauty.

As the night drew to a close, Elijah walked Ava home, his arm around her shoulders and his heart full of joy. They stood outside her door, looking up at the stars, and Elijah knew in that moment that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Ava.

From that day on, Ava and Elijah were inseparable. They spent their days exploring the town, holding hands, and laughing together. They would have picnics in the park, go on long walks, and just enjoy each other's company.

As the months went by, Ava and Elijah's love continued to grow. They would talk about their dreams and aspirations, and support each other every step of the way. They were each other's rock, each other's safe haven, and each other's soulmate.

Elijah would surprise Ava with small gifts and gestures, showing her how much he cared. He would bring her favorite flowers, cook her favorite meals, and write her love letters. Ava, in turn, would shower Elijah with affection, making him feel loved and cherished.

One day, Elijah took Ava to the same restaurant where they had had their first date. He got down on one knee, pulled out a small box, and asked Ava to be his wife. Ava was overwhelmed with emotion, but she knew exactly what she wanted. She said yes, and Elijah placed the ring on her finger.

Their wedding was a beautiful one, surrounded by friends and family who loved them both. They exchanged vows in a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and spent their honeymoon traveling the world and enjoying each other's company.

Years went by, and Ava and Elijah built a life together. They had children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, but their love never faltered. They were each other's everything, and they knew that their love would last a lifetime.

As they grew older, Ava and Elijah would sit on their porch, holding hands, and reminiscing about their life together. They would talk about their children, their grandchildren, and their great-grandchildren, but most of all, they would talk about their love for each other.

In the end, Ava and Elijah's love story was one for the ages. It was a story of true love, of soulmates, and of the power of love to overcome all obstacles. They lived happily ever after, surrounded by the love and joy that they had created together.
