In 1927, Allama Iqbal founded Takhti, an organization for India that provided educational and intellectual services. The name of this organization was "Majlis-e-Iqbal" and its aim was to promote the principles of education, training and self-respect to the youth of India. An important effort of Majlis-e-Iqbal was to educate the head of the judiciary of a court in the light of Islamic principles so that they could inculcate the spirit of justice and equality in judicial decisions.
