Big Brother Naija is the biggest reality show in Nigeria, and one of the fastest platforms through which to get an audience. People going on the show are in the search of fame, but what we as viewers may not know is that for some of them, their parents are already quite popular. Today, we'll be counting down 7 Big Brother Naija housemates who also have famous parents. Here they are.

1. Cross

A Big Brother Naija housemate that comes from royalty is Big Brother Naija season 6 contestant, Cross.

Cross's father is the late Christopher Ikechukwu Okonkwo aka Ezego from Oba Uke Idemili North Anambra. The revelation was made on Cross's Instagram.

2. Praise

Season 5 contestant, Praise Nelson actually has a father who is in the spotlight. Praise is the son of popular Nollywood actor, Nelson Wealth aka Igwe Abuja who has been in blockbuster movies including My Decision and Dirty Old Men.

3. Arin

Another BBNaija housemate with a famous parents is one who had a parent in politics and that is Arin whose father happens to be the late Senator Olabode Olowoporoku. Senator Olowoporoku served as Senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial District between 2003-2007.

He passed away on March 24, 2021, a few months before Arin entered the Big Brother house.

4. Jackie B

Big Brother Naija S06 housemate, Jackie B is the daughter of Nigerian senator Grace Folashade Bent, a senator who was elected in April 2007 on the People's Democratic Party platform in the Adamawa South constituency of Adamawa State.

5. Prince

Popular Big Brother Naija season 5 contestant Prince is actually a real life prince. He is the son of King Leomike Enwerem, the king of Ebie Land in Imo State. His full title: His Royal Highness Leomike Enwerem, Eze Ebii I of Ebie Land in Imo State.

6. Kiddwaya

One of the more popular father and son relations that we all know of. In 2020, Big Brother Naija contestant Kiddwaya became very popular when it was revealed that he is the son of popular Nigerian billionaire, Terry Waya. Kidd on multiple occasions talked about the relationship with his father both during his time on the show and after. Terry Waya has also on numerous occasions given his thoughts about his son Kidd’s time in the house and campaigned for him to win even though in the end, he did not.

7. Soma

Finally on this list, a housemate people may not know has a famous parent is Soma Amex whose fame increased after his appearance on the All Stars season. Soma is the son of Stella Yama, a singer that was most prominent in the early 2000s and one of the first to be signed to a Sony Music deal.
