If it is difficult to remember what you ate yesterday for breakfast or dinner, how many coffees you drank from the beginning of the day, what sensations you experienced at that moment (pleasure, irritation, upset with someone, yourself, coffee …) - read this article to the end and perform each exercise at least once. Therefore, awareness is divided into several types: intellectual, mental, sexual, behavioral, physical, visual, and physical.

You can begin to consider yourself a conscious person, if in a week, in any situation and at any time, you can answer 4 questions:

● Why do I go there?

By developing awareness, the person begins to feel better and to understand his inner world, his feelings, and thoughts. All the insignificant gradually crumbles on its own, without pain, only what is important, good, true, and necessary remains.

Sleep awareness

What to do: sleep (most enjoyable exercise)

What it offers you: understanding and awareness of bedtime rituals, as well as the conditions necessary for better rest. Understanding your partner's needs, realizing how important it is to find a compromise for quality and harmonious rest together.

Practice: Ask yourself the following questions: Does your partner prefer a soft or hard mattress? Which room do you prefer to sleep in? Does the room have to be warm or cool? Should the windows be open or closed?

Should bed linen be scrubbed or soft and fluffy? What do you prefer to sleep in or without pajamas? To sleep with or without a book? Hugged or does he like complete freedom? What else is important for you and your partner to fall asleep quickly? What is the position of the body? What lighting? Do you have a bedtime ritual?

But the one about waking up in the morning? Discuss these details, identify the important conditions for deep sleep for each of you. For example, you need to keep the room warm or even warmer than the environment. And the partner needs to be dark. Try to decide how you will go to bed and practice these conditions within 21 days. It does not require much effort.

Awareness of your emotions

What to do: Within a week, when you are upset with someone, you are offended or irritated, give this person 5 compliments to yourself. Honest.

What it offers you: the ability to see the person from others, but not their deeds, to separate them from each other. The ability to accept, to understand, to change the relationship with yourself and the world around you.

Practice: Fix negative thoughts about others, such as "what a horrible coat he has" or "how can you shout at your child like that" that you didn't realize until now. Usually, as it happens, we are filled with negative thoughts and move on.

From now on you will have to hold back for a moment and send sincere compliments to the object of your irritation. But how not condemn an ​​employee who upsets all deadlines? How can you not condemn a mother on the playground who is beating her child?

How can you not grind your remorse when you screw it up? In such situations, look for other positive aspects, unseen at first glance. Learn to see them, to be aware of them.

Awareness of one's thoughts

What to do: Make plans and set goals, based on your needs and desires, not your negative experience.

What it offers you: greater freedom at the beginning of the path, you will free yourself from the fear of everything new, of new ideas, even of a new life. "Leader Syndrome" will remain in the past.

Practice: before a new beginning, a new project, suggest the following idea (until you start to believe in it sincerely…): it is a simple experiment, I do not start the most important cause of my life, which must be broken performed maximally well.

As a result, I will gain experience, whatever it may be. Nobody expects great results from me, there is no evaluation committee. It's my life, I live it the way I understand it.

Self-awareness

What to do: Massage your body thoroughly. You can start with the soles.

What it offers you: you will feel your body better, as a guide of sensations and perception of the world. Without bodily sensations, life will be unrecognizable. It is important to be aware and feel this. It is our body that allows us to experience a wide range of pleasures in life.

Practice: When massaging your feet, listen to your sensations. Then write them down on paper. What was the liveliest feeling? What metaphor or analogy would suit him? Did you feel the tension that you didn't know before? But she was always there. You just didn't know about it…
