3 Months Into Their Marriage, Nigerian Woman Stabs Her Husband and You'll Never Believe Why (Photos).

What happened?

Marriage is a lifelong commitment taken for better or worse. But what happens when the worse happens way before what anyone can consider to be a ‘lifetime’. What happens when three months into a marriage, one party is being rushed to the hospital because the other part of this blessed union has stabbed him in the neck?

This is the case of the story I’ll be sharing with you today. It’s a crazy story and although the original story was shared in pidgin English, I have taken the liberty to transcribe the entire thing into Queen’s English – that way, even if you’re not Nigerian or not conversant with pidgin, you’ll still be able to follow along with the story. JUST 3 MONTHS INTO MARRIAGE, HUSBAND AND WIFE FIGHT AND WIFE ALLEDGEDLY INJURES HUSBAND WITH SCISSORS TO THE NECK.

You guys remember this morning when I told you about one woman who poured pepper on her husband’s eyes and injured him?

Yes, let me tell you the story that we’ve gathered. These two people whose pictures appear under this post married on the 12th of September, 2020 here in Sapele; they also rent a house in Gbekoko Rd. The man opened a tailoring store for the woman on Oleh Road by Major Bowen.

Because the town is unsafe right now, the man told his wife to be closing early so she can come home on time. But the woman kept on closing late and going home late. The man pleaded with her at length to at least come home by 6:30pm but the woman kept coming to the house by around 8pm thereabout.. That led to fights and other issues.

To cut the long story short, while husband and wife were engaged in a serious argument and fight – from the man’s perspective, he said that the woman decided to wake up early, by around 4am saying that she wanted to go to her sister’s place. Because he didn’t want her to get attacked on the road, he told his wife to wait till at least the sun came out before leaving for her sister’s place. From the woman’s perspective, she wanted to go to her sister’s house because of the argument going on in the house.

According to the man, while trying to stop his wife from leaving, he held onto her bags. It was this that caused the wife to then proceed to pour pepper in the man’s eyes as well as use scissors to injure him in the neck. He fell to the ground and the woman ran away.

However, according to the woman, it was actually the man who poured pepper in her eyes, and she only stabbed him in the neck with the scissors as an act of self defense.

But according to the people who live in their area, they say that this particular couple always has issues and they believe that it is because of the ultimatum the man gave the woman about closing early that the fight happened. The area people also confirmed that the woman is always injuring the man , and that they have had more than 5 issues since they got married.

Analyzing it, if it was in fact the man that poured pepper in the woman’s eyes, how was she able to see him to stab him in the neck?

Later in the evening, the man went to the woman’s store in Oleh Road to confront her about the whole thing. Still, the woman insisted that she stabbed him because of self defense. People around hearing the issue concluded that the woman was a wicked woman for stabbing her husband in the neck, and eventually, the man locked up the store saying that he would put it up for rent.

I beg, how do you see this matter?

Wow! After just three months, how can a wife stab her husband in the neck simply because he didn’t want her to go out in the middle of the night? It’s such a bizarre story that immediately I read it, I knew I had to share it with you guys.

I guess it truly goes to show that in this thing called marriage, one has to be careful in the picking so as to not end up with the wrong person. A wrong spouse as they say can truly lead to an early grave - shine your eyes!
