2021

Dear 2021,

I want to go home. It wasn't just a thought when I saw this image, it was something more ancient than that. I want to go home. When are you coming to get me? Hmmmm, right, you're not. I forgot; I'm a Mission Realmer (if you know, you know; if you don't, you're in the majority). It's something a wise lady told me the other day. I'm also a Starseed, an INFJ, an Introvert, a Manifesting Generator, a Virgo (sun), Sagittarius (moon), and Libra (rising), a Woman, a Human, a Canadian, an Asexual, an Only Child, a Saskatchewanian (try to say that a few times fast), a Scholar, a Poet, a...well, a Collector of Curiosities is probably the best way to put it. I've been searching for a language to describe me for as long as I can remember. I've been searching for a home in the words of others since words held conscious meaning to me (okay, maybe longer than that). Desperate for a way to explain this vessel, this self, and how she moves through this now space.

I'm an amazing chameleon; and always a collector. I eagerly gather the crumbs that others drop from the cakes of their dreams, from the cookies of their fears. I fed myself on the fuel that suits others for so long that I buried my compass; lost it among the detritus. Lucky for me, that's where the alchemy happens. And I've always had an eye for the gems that try to hide. Pockets full of stones and twigs and trinkets; I've been a gardener since I could walk (and can't keep a houseplant to save it's my life!). What I've started to see if that what I'm growing is my knowing; or what I'm cultivating is my remembering? Or what I'm forgetting is the programming? As you can see, I've clearly got this all figured out.

2021, I'm asking you to keep some of that space that 2020 offered. That 2020 vision was no joke; it broke, or at least cracked what needed to be so the light could shine through. The masks we wore were replaced with ones that others could see. I needed that space away from the noise to hear my own voice again. I talk...a lot, once you know me. And I don't always say much. Now I can see it's been a searching; using everyone I meet as a sounding board (I thank you for that) to see what truly resonates with this being beyond this 3D.

Right, this isn't just about where we've been. So, 2021, where are we going? Higher! Ring those phones (If you're from Sask, you know)! In an effort to come into Alignment with my Assignment, here's what I propose:

• Play Mantras enough that our Wrapped 2021 Spotify list is full of songs that most people can't pronounce.
• Walk so much that the trees see my changes as much as I see theirs.
• Dance enough that my cat stops thinking it's weird.
• Write anything, everything - write what I need to say, not what I think people need to hear; this is the way back to my voice.
• Stay Curious and follow that down any rabbit hole it might lead to; that's where the magic happens.
• Feel my feelings (not just think them).
• Nap - honestly there is no downside to this activity - ever.
• Listen to my gut; my body has a deep knowing and never lost that compass the way I did.
• Do the work and do it with grace and flow and ease and in a way that makes so much sense to me, even if that's not "the way it's always been".
• Help - the world always needs helpers; they see the shadows and are bring the light where it's needed.
• Unlearn - just keep doing this and the rest will follow.

2021, I'm so happy to meet you and excited to be on this adventure with you in this now space of infinite potential. I thank you in advance for helping me to come home.
