A maniac with a rifle climbs to the top of an inner city water tower and opens fire on unsuspecting citizens below. Reminiscent of the crimes of Texas University shooter Charles Whitman, this scenario, while unusual in 1976, is all too common today. A brave, lonely cop climbs up to try and talk him down. Right before the shooter falls to his death, he tells the astonished cop that the reason he did it was because, "God told me to."

The Manifestation
A smile is a pitiful sticker affixed to one’s face to hide the frown underneath and the sadness deeper within. Renn was well aware of this fact as he had become an expert at putting on his smile every day while the darkness swirled inside of him. Even as he took the first sip of his drink, the smile did not waver; he had done an excellent job today. His smile was perfect, and no one would be able to tell otherwise.
Lost In The Onyx
On a quite historical street. Normal to the naked eye, lie Secrets hidden beyond fresh laid concrete and flowers that grow on unkept lawns. A daughter, Sherry Blackstock daughter of Rosalina Blackstock arrives at her childhood house. Going over the plans with her sister, Rain Blackstock they would be moving their strained mother to her new home in a mediocre old folks home, courtesy of her daughters. They would be spending the next few weeks packing, renovating, and eventually selling their mothers belongings and house. Putting their mother to Rot instead of spending her golden years in luxury she would be subjected to dirty sheets and flavorless food. To her daughters this would be their way of getting revenge for the years upon years of abuse inflicted from their psychotic fantasy driven mother, in the house that tormented not just them with nightmares but also induced schizophrenic episodes from their mother. They had dreamed of this moment for a long time. Whatever coin they get from the house would be a bonus as well. Peace is soon.

Doctor Charles Howard peered through his microscope at his latest specimen. He hoped with every fiber of his being that he had injected his specimens correctly. If he had made a fatal error like last time it would put back his process another 2 weeks. He was already behind his personal deadline. The lab was quiet, he liked the chatter of his colleagues, but today was a Sunday. He wanted the lab just to himself, peaceful and quiet to focus on his studies. I live in a pretty secluded area in my town; my house is on a narrow, winding, hilly road where the houses are all pushed back from the street and creep into the woods beyond. My house sits at the bottom of an gradually sloping hilly area covered in trees, in which I would always embark make-believe adventures as a kid.
