Review of 'Nocturne'
I saw and enjoyed Nocturne last night, the fourth of four horror movies by Blumhouse on Amazon Prime Video, which four themselves are the first installment in a larger series to continue in 2021. Like the first three Blumhouse movies I saw -- The Lie, Black Box, and Evil Eye -- Nocturne is a tightly drawn family drama. But Nocturne has the additional depth of being situated in music.

What Lies Below Movie Review
There are lots of reasons What Lies Below sounds incredibly promising at first glance. It takes a decent stab at marrying two drastically underrated horror subcategories – the aquatic creature feature and the story of the mysterious interloper. It brings some genuinely remarkable talents together, including the very talented Ema Horvath (The Gallows Act II) and the always delightful Mena Suvari (Don’t Blink), as well, so there’s plenty here to whet a genre fan’s appetite. Gremlins - A Movie Review
You don’t want to know what happens when you feed a gremlin after midnight. Ripping out of Christmas packages, Gremlins premiered in theaters in 1984. Billy’s father gives him an early Christmas gift. What looks to be a harmless creature turns into a monster upon being fed after midnight. The peaceful town is soon destroyed from enjoying their peaceful holiday.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Daniel Isn't Real' (2019)
On the surface of this movie is a pretty solid story about mental illness, having to live through being raised by someone with mental illness, and discovering you may have inherited that mental illness. I talked about this in my review of They Look Like People (2015). From the inside of the mind of mental illness, the world is already a horror story. There is already plenty of heartache having to watch someone go through that, only to discover you might have inherited it.

Don't Look Back (2020) Review
