‘Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark’ Movie Review
Based on the popular trilogy of books of the same name, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark involves a group of kids in the late sixties who sneak into an allegedly haunted house on Halloween night. After finding a book of scary stories written in blood (supposedly by a vengeful spirit), it quickly becomes clear that these local legends are true. And before long, new stories begin writing themselves—with them as the characters!

'The Lodge' Could Very Well Be The Next Great Horror Film!
In most celebrated horror films, there are two things that usually, more often than not, resulting in a terrifyingly satisfying and thought-provoking experience. There is a group of unsuspecting people, and there is a place they go where terrifying things happen within its walls. Over the years so many great examples of filmmakers taking those two factors, and generating an eerie concept that causes most of us to sleep with the lights on for weeks after the credits roll. The Conjuring films, The Shining, The Haunting of Hill House, Poltergeist, and The Amityville Horror are just some examples that meet these criteria that have become revered as classics within the genre. And it looks like the next title that could very well be added to that list is The Lodge. Some hail it as the next great, game-changing horror experience that is sure to rattle anyone who sees it. And from the looks of its shocking trailer, this relentless, mind-bending fright-fest seems like it will live up to its already infamous reputation as being scary as hell.

'Office Uprising' - Review (Netflix)
Office Uprising is a comedy-horror written by Peter Gamble and Ian Shorr and directed by Lin Oeding. It scores a respectable six point two on IMDB with a great cast led by Brenton Thwaites, who is in the dark and highly entertaining Netflix series DC’s Titans as Nightwing/Dick Grayson. Jane Levy, best known for her turn as Tessa in Suburgatory, also stars, along with Karan Soni, who is recognisable from the Deadpool films as well as many other roles.

The summer of 1959 I was eight years old when my family was uprooted from Angola, the migrant camp we called home located approximately 10 miles southwest of Corcoran, California. Named after the cotton gin nearby, but now due to mechanization there was no need for human cotton pickers any longer. The owners decided to tear down the camp and clear the land displacing at least twenty families.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'World War Z' (2013)
World War Z is... not a horror movie. I'm a little more than disappointed here. This was an action movie, not a horror movie. Brad Pitt might as well have been fighting terrorists for all it would have changed about the plot. You could literally remake this movie with different costumes and that would be the only real change. The Zombies could be replaced by any generic threat. Terrorists or an invading army like Red Dawn. Shit, even if it was Aliens, it would be action, not horror. This could have been an episode of 24 or a new selection from the Born series. Making the zombie robots would change fuck-all about this movie...
