The town of Bringston was first found in 1806 but no one knew what went through or what even settled there, there were rumors of creatures of the unknown that had made it their home but even back then, things had to change to make their appearances scarce as they could be so they too could survive a world that they weren’t meant to be in.

Gretel & Hansel (2020)
Tell me the fairy tale again.It’s too scary, you’ll start seeing things that aren’t there. In recent years we have been flooded with live-action versions of well-known Disney fairy tales. These usually follow the fairytale story without deviation. Even the appearance and atmosphere are mostly identical to the original. However, this isn’t the case with “Gretel & Hansel”. Director Osgood Perkins has gone to great lengths to make it an idiosyncratic creation. It largely corresponds to the original story of the Brothers Grimm. But the moral of the story is very different from the original fairy tale. So, no nasty stepmother. No pebbles or bread crumbs. In the original fairy tale, Hans was more inventive. Here he’s a helpless little fellow dependent on his bigger sister. But it’s mainly the role Gretel plays in this story and how this character evolves. Hence probably also the switching of the names in the film title, which indicates Gretel’s part is more important.

My Review of "Murder Party"
Murder Party is an oddity that I didn't really expect to see on Netflix. I have never heard of this movie before but it popped up on my recommended list and I'm really glad it did. It's a horror comedy that satirizes the art industry and has a lot of interesting messages.

Empathy
Have you ever experienced emotions that were not your own? Emotions that were essentially thrown upon you? I suppose that’s what being empathetic is like. I feel, if I feel anything at all, that all of these emotions I’ve experienced were not mine. I have not ever felt an emotion that affected me directly… If that makes any sense. I have never felt anger. I have never felt sadness. I have never felt happiness. I have felt someone else’s anger... or their sadness... happiness. Only because they felt it.

Dead Girls Never Cry As the needle pierced the skin, that was the beginning, addicted to the needle, than I push the junk into my vein and it's fireworks. Something close to stardust. Something magical. Well, that's how it made me feel. Like I was connecting with god, dancing with the witches that we didn't manage to burn. But all this happened while I was flat on my back on a dirty old mattress, the needle still sticking out of my arm.

No Life Left
I stare out the window as the cars go past, Wishing I could run away. I can hear screaming from downstairs looks like tonight is going to be a bad one. I think Mike is drunk again for the 3rd time this week. The door swung open mashing against the wall, Its Mike with his veins popping out of his head. He looks so angry but was it something I did? He screams at me "I hate this family I wish you all were dead". The tears run down my face because I know what will happen next. Anytime Mike gets drunk he beats me I never understood why me, Might be because I remind him of my mom who left. She had had it with him, and she made the decision to leave without me.For a while I thought she would come back but its been 6 years, I wonder does she even remember me. I could see the sweat dripping down his forehead as he got ready to hurt me. I shut my eyes as the burning sensation came across my face. One after another the hits kept going on for what felt like forever.
