Ending of a fiasco, beginning of a Nightmare
So now I'm desperately calling for days trying to find someone to get me a plane ticket home, as getting a job didn’t work out too well. I can’t call Dad, I never want him to think I’m a failure, and I know he doesn’t have any money at the moment either. Then finally I got ahold of the always trustworthy Uncle Vic.

Ghost! Was I hallucinating?
Ghost! Really! Hello everyone, I’m Phil and I have always been fascinated with all things Halloween since I was a kid (ghost, sorcerer, witches, etc.). In fact; you can say that I have OHD (Obsessive Halloween Disorder). What I have experienced during this event that I will share with you shortly did scare me, but it has also left me curious, intrigued by what is called; unexplained phenomena or …the supernatural.

The Clinically Sane
The year is 2015. Rebecca Steele is in Weston, West Virginia. She was here to investigate the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. Rebecca had investigated haunted places before. She was known around the ghost community as the “Woman made of Steel” for never getting flustered and doing solo investigations. She was fearless and viewed this place as another investigation and a major hook for her audience. Rebecca kept her gear limited. She knew what worked and that is what she stuck to. Given the troubled past of Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, Rebecca was certain that she would get a lot of action tonight.

The Music Boxs
The house where I grew up was huge. It had a giant living room, spacious kitchen with island and bar area, a massive rec room, laundry room, sitting room—we called it the antique room and dining room. On top of that, the downstairs had two half bathrooms.

The Psychopath Chronicles
Marley woke up in a strange bedroom. Her mind fuzzy as she looked around the beautifully appointed bedroom. There were no windows, though the room seemed bright and airy. Yellow canopy bed, with while lace fringe. Her eyes turning to the dark wood chest with antique handles, standing next to a glider rocker. “What is going on?” she thought, as she tries to shake the webs of confusion from her head. “Where am I?” memories of what happened filling her head. The car; the man in the back seat at the gym; driving down some street. Shaking her head, trying to clear her thoughts.

Movie Review: 'Alive' Starring Angus MacFadyen (Not the good Netflix 'Alive')
This review is something of an experiment. I am hoping that by the end of this writing I will know for sure whether or not I actually like or don’t like the newly released horror movie, Alive starring Angus MacFadyen. I am genuinely of two minds on the movie. On one hand, I watched all the way to the end and I really wanted to know how it all turned out. On the other hand, the lead performances are mediocre at best and only the clumsy mystery at the center of the story kept me watching.

Stories of a Life Not So Well Lived
Fear, a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. My palms become damp as I quicken my pace, my feet move faster and faster until I feel like I am running on air. My lungs are burning as my breath escapes me. The deafening sound of my heartbeat rings through my ears, firing off like gunshots in an empty room. Shop after shop, closed. My mind races as I continue the chase in which in I am obviously the prey. Closed, closed, closed, the signs mock me in my feeble attempt to seek asylum. I can hear him.

She stepped behind a tree for a moment to catch her breath. Her head was spinning "no, no, not yet" she begged herself as she watched her nails grow into claws. Immortal Chapter 3
Natalie's Pov During the entire lesson, I could feel the new guy's eyes staring into my back. I continued watching the clock above the chalk board, counting down the minutes until the bell rang. Finally, after what seemed like hours, my favorite sound of the bell started ringing, letting us know that classes were over. A lot of the students had big plans after class. Although it was Monday, high school kids knew how to party.
