Leaves crunched under her boots as she ran fearing for her life. Her breathing was heavy and her heat was racing. The moon was full and at its peak, arrow whizzed past her embedding themselves into the bark of trees. Her eyes began to glow, one blue and one green. She stepped behind a tree for a moment to catch her breath. Her head was spinning "no, no, not yet" she begged herself as she watched her nails grow into claws. She screamed as pain coursed through her body, she pushed herself off the tree hoping to have time to hide from them. Though it was too late, she shifted from girl to beast. Coated in black fur, eyes glowing in the night, she took off. The woods were nothing for her. She's lived in them for as long as she could remember, but wherever she went they followed. The woods went on for miles making it the safest place for her.

Morning came, the sun was rising and she found herself at a river. She looked at her reflection. A lone wolf. They say lone wolves don't survive on their own, that they're dangerous. They have no rules, no order, no alpha. They're unpredictable. For her it was ideal. She was alone and no one could get hurt. She tried to stay off of other wolves' territories to keep from causing too much attention. She only hunted small animals like rabbits or beavers. If others even suspected she was around, she would be dead. She's a werewolf just like them but that wouldn't matter to them because of the kind she is. Werewolves and hunters were after her, nowhere was safe. She watched her reflection change from animal to girl. She lifted herself off of the ground and looked around to make sure the coast was clear. She walked over to a pile of leaves near a rock by the edge of the lake. Under the leaves were a pile of clothes. She shoved on the ripped black jeans and plain white t-shirt along with a red flannel and a pair of black boots. She covered her tracks and moved on.

This was how her days were usually spent, running, hiding, hunting. It was a cycle she was trapped in and couldn't escape. She wandered through the woods mindlessly, endlessly, till the night came. She stepped carefully and quietly as she tried to creep up on the rabbit. Though it ran away at the crack of a branch. Her focus faltered as she looked around for the source, she sniffed the air and smelled smoke. Loud music and laughter filled her ears bringing her attention to light glowing in the distance. She was about to run until she turned around "where you going, the party's this way" a guy said "come on." He wrapped his arm around her and brought her closer towards the glowing light which turned out to be a fire. There had been a bunch of teenagers dancing and mingling and drinking. Her heart raced and fear clouded her mind. It was like she was lost as people pushed past her. "Hey are you okay?" She looked up to see a boy with green eyes and dark brown hair "y-yes" she choked out. The guy placed a hand on her arm causing her to jump back "I'm sorry, um my name's Collyn" he said taking a step back "I h-have to go" she murmured walking past him.

She had only been walking for a couple minutes when people began to run past her "it's the cops" someone yelled. She didn't know what was happening and her head began to spin again. "No"she whimpered trying to keep it under control. She was tackled to the ground and her arms were forced behind her back. Her eyes glowed but she reined it in.

She found herself in a police station handcuffed to a bench. "Alright sweetie it's been a long a night, so just tell me how to contact your parents and we can all go home" the man said, his name tag said Walsh. "I don't have parents" she mumbled, the officer sighed feeling sorry for the girl. "What's your name sweetie" he asked "Ally." He unlocked the cuffs and knelt down "There's a foster home three blocks from here I'll drive you over."

This was all three months ago.

She fell to the ground as the taser latched itself onto her and sent electricity throughout her body. When it finally stopped the officer cuffed her, "this is the fifth time you've tried to run, you think you would've learned by now." She grunted as he pulled her up "I thought the same of you" Ally murmerd "I never asked to be put in the foster system" she breathed. "Yeah well you are and now you have food, clean water, a bed, and roof over your head, you're living large compared to how you were living before." She knew he was right but she's been here for too long and they always find her. Being known, being seen, it wasn't safe, but nobody gave her a choice as they forced her into civilization.

He dropped her off in front of the town's high school. She sighed as she made her way inside the building. Classes dragged on and she felt like she was locked in a cage. Her whole life she was always on the move, running, so sitting at a desk for an hour six-seven times a day was unsettling for her. One thing she knew that she hated to admit, even to herself, was that she was wild. It's how she grew up. It was all she knew. Wild animals don't belong in cages. As soon as the bell rang she rushed out of there as quick as she could. "Whoa slow down there." She looked up at the person she bumped into. His scent was similar to hers "sorry" she said with fear growing inside of her as she began to back away from him. "Yo Collyn" another boy said coming up to him "what's up Dallas" Collyn said nevr taking his eyes off of Ally. His friend smelled the same. The boy Dallas was about to speak when he noticed Ally "is she okay" he whispered to Collyn. Not knowing what to do in this situation she did the only thing she knew how. She ran, she ran but they followed.

"Hey" they yelled after her but she didn't stop. They chased her for miles until Collyn was able to tackle her to the ground. He pinned her on her back "please, please don't kill me" she begged as tears escaped her eyes. "Kill you" Collyn questioned "we're not going to kill you, we just want to know who you are and what you're doing here" he said. Ally struggled beneath his grip but soon froze as she heard them. "They're coming" she shook "who" Dallas asked "hunters." Dallas clenched his fist "you lured us into a trap" he yelled "no, no they're here for me" Ally looked at Collyn "please don't let them hurt me." Dallas rolled his eyes "Collyn don't fall for it, lets go" he said but Collyn saw the desperation in her eyes "what's your name" he asked her. "Ally, Ally Kane."
