Fickle, valuable thing
Calming darkness. It pulls her under the water with its ripples. At the end of the tunnel the light will come, and reveal what is on the other side. What is on the other side? She doesn’t know yet, nor does anyone know unless they have been on the other side before. The light grows larger. Opening like the sequence of an old cartoon reel. She waits in anticipation for what she was about to see.

Every bar has it's ghost story. Makes sense when you think of it, they are full of spirits. Haha, get it, you know, booze, spirits. There are some people who don't drink at all out of fear of being filled with a spirit. There are practitioner's who refuse to practice magic while intoxicated because the barrier between the living and the dead becomes so thin. There are others who offer liquor on their alters to appease the spirits of the dead. I'm going to tell you a story that may make you think the next time you are in a bar drinking and the music is playing. It's the story of a body borrower. You may hear some people in those polite circles of love and light refer to a similar experience as "channeling." The Haunting of Bly Manor (Netflix TV Show Review)
When one thinks of a haunting, a few things that typically come to mind are mist on a lake with a mansion in the background, or the sight of Norman Bates' big Victorian house with Norman standing at the top of the hill with a kitchen knife in his hand. Stephen Kings' "The Shining," a cursed hotel filled with the ghosts of people who died there, is also a great example.

The House Guests
Stepping over tree roots and pushing branches out of her way, Claudia hollered over her shoulder, “It’s just a little further, guys!” “You’ve said that 10 times now.” A voice called back, slightly irritated. She looked back at Jason and Olivia stumbling behind her as they tried to keep up without falling flat on their faces. “It’s going to be worth it, trust me.” “You said that already, too,” mumbled Jason. The three of them had been best friends since the fourth grade, and Jason and Olivia had become used to Claudia’s adventurous spirit. But sometimes she went a little too far, and this was starting to feel like one of those times. Claudia insisted that trekking out into the woods to explore an old condemned house would be the highlight of their Halloween, especially since it would be the last one they’d have together. The three of them were going their separate ways for university, and it was going to be the first time they’d been separated for longer than a weekend. Claudia was adamant on making it the most memorable Halloween they would have together. And it was keeping her mind off of the fact that she was devastated the three would be ripped apart. “Fucking life,” Claudia said under her breath as she thought about the future. “At least we have right now.”
