Gather your kids, invite over neighbors, or host a bunch of your friends for a night of decking out cookies or cupcakes (or both!) with icing spiderwebs, candy corn graveyards, and marshmallow ghosts. Inviting friends and family over in order to reveal your creative work this season meanwhile decorating your own Halloween cupcakes (any sweets)will the perfect night to remember. The link is below if anyone wants some ideas.

2) Carve pumpkins

There is no Halloween without carved pumpkins. Spend the night carving pumpkins from the comfort of your own home, an activity that you and your family can enjoy meanwhile carving up your artwork into these beautiful pumpkins.

3) Have a Halloween movie night at home with friends and family.

Some of the recommended movies are: Halloween 1978- introducing Michael Myers, Scream- This clever-yet-scary slasher movie/black comedy stars a variety of big stars, from Courtney Cox to Drew Barrymore, and continues to be a fan-favorite hit Etc.

4) Curl up with a spooky book

On your own this Halloween? Set the mood by lighting a bunch of candles, covering yourself within a warm blanket grabbing a glass of hot coffee or cider and reading a thriller. Here are some spooky suggestion that you might consider reading: Pet Semetary by Stephen King, Naomi's Room by Jonathan Aycliffe, Endless Night by Richard Laymon, The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris, The Dwelling by Susie Moloney, Blood Memory by Greg Iles, "The Haunting of Hill House," by Shirley Jackson etc.

5) Have a game night with friends and family.

Whether you’re with the kids or adult friends, game night is always a good idea—but especially on Halloween. It could be as simple as playing your favorite board game, card games, and word games. Some examples of games that you can play include: Eldritch Horror: Become investigators on the trail of a plot to reawaken the Old Ones in this co-op board game, Mansions of Madness: Choose between a wide selection of Cthulhu inspired scenarios to tackle in this tricky co-op game, Nyctophobia: Discover what being afraid of the dark is really like in this board game of pursuit and blindfolds or you can play board games that do not have a horror theme and some examples are Catan, monopoly, ticket to ride, etc.

6) Go to a Halloween Attraction: The possibilities for this are endless! You can go to haunted houses, corn mazes, and hiking trails (they can be spooky). The best part about this is that you can do all of these wonderful and scare filled activities for such a cheap price — some are even free! Some examples are: FLORIDA: A Petrified Forest Scare Trail in Altamonte Springs-The Petrified Forest received a makeover this year, with a completely new layout that features "85,000 square feet of sheer horror" — all located inside a giant Floridian swamp. There are also backstage tours for those wanting behind-the-scenes info and tricks of the trade, LOUISIANA: Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans- You can't go wrong celebrating Halloween in New Orleans, which is the Voodoo capital of America, but the Voodoo Festival, on October 26 to 28, is an experience all its own. The city's largest park transforms into a spooky carnival, filled with art installations, vendors, a faux graveyard, carnival rides, and iconic musical acts, MARYLAND: The Nevermore Haunt in Baltimore- The Nevermore Haunt, a critically lauded haunted house in Baltimore, contains two components. First is the haunted house itself, which, according to its website, contains "Bizarre creatures, terrifying visions of the past, and heart pounding horrors." and the second part is Isac's Maleficent Sideshow, which is made up of "sinister magicians and freak-show performances."

7) Go to a haunted house

Another excellent option for a Halloween adventure, because even if it’s run by a bunch of teenagers, a haunted house will never fail to make you scream your head off and if you are scared to go alone you can always invite your friends to go and get a scare of a lifetime an event that you will not forget.

8) Crack the Code of a Horror-Themed Escape Room:

Escape rooms are popping up everywhere these days, and some of them have downright horrifying themes, perfect for Halloween. This one is a fab example of an attraction site that you may visit (and note many of them require reservations, they’re so popular). Do you dare?

9) Volunteer — With a Halloween Theme:

It never hurts to be nice and if you got an introverted (or just a Halloween-meh) teen who happens to love to volunteer for charitable causes? Encourage your teen to bypass the festivities if they are so inclined, and — for instance — bake some Halloween cookies for a local nursing home or dog treats for a nearby shelter.

10) Go for a Walk :

On Halloween, there is an extra energy in the air. In many areas, the air is just a bit crisp, and houses and neighbourhoods are brightly lit and inviting, the excitement of so many costumed kids (and grownups!) adds a real air of festivity to the evening. If you miss the days when you could go trick or treating, you can still experience the energy of Halloween by taking a walk with a friend. You'll enjoy the sights and sounds while getting a nice workout and good company. If you're feeling really brave, visit your nearest historic cemetery! After the walk, treat yourselves to some chocolate from the candy bowl or go for coffee!
