Those who walk in Darkness
“They are like the ghost of past present and future except they are all present. They are never ceasing, didn’t you read that? Your situation whatever you have done – and please do not tell me, I do not wish to be involved - you millennials simply disgust me. Whatever you have done, you must atone for your sins or your life will only continue to get worse from here on out.

Blood Vessel
Wicked of Oz productions and Co-Writer/Director Justin Dix delivers a well made low budget WWII horror flick. What set's this cheekily titled Blood Vessel apart from other micro-budget films? This film drips in ominous atmosphere. The set department, costumes, and special makeup effects turn this little vampire flick into the film that could. The visuals drip with dread and salt air. These are all seasoned filmmakers and they take everything they learned and turned a tiny budget into a fantastic little beast. This flick has teeth, figuratively and literally speaking. Justin Dix has leant his practical makeup effects, props, miniatures, animatronic characters and set pieces for feature films and television work. They've produced work for films such as Star Wars Episode 2 and 3, Charlottes Web, The Loved Ones, The Bank Job. They've been attached to nearly every Australian Horror Film in the industry. They've also worked Dying Breed, Wolf Creek, Red Hill, Rogue, Lake Mungo, The Babadook, and Scare campaign, to name a few. Filmed in Melbourne Australia. I live in Melbourne, FL and have accidentally joined more than a few Melbourne Australia message boards. I digress.

Bloody Charlie
The smell of a freshly cut tree on any other day would not have smelled so splendid. It was well worth time, as it’s recently cut limbs and breathless leaves rustled one last time in the moonlit autumn breeze. Sap oozed from the bare stump like blood from a wound that, if given quick, and proper, treatment, may allow you to live on with scarred remembrance. This tree lying flat on the front lawn had been an eye sore since the day my wife and I had moved in. The branches, long been dead, rapping on the window pane in the wind like an uninvited visitor constantly begging to be let in. Frankly it gave me the creeps and to say that my wife was any more a fan than me would be the greatest understatement. That’s why I chopped it down.

Lilja Chapter 1: Escape
Chapter One: Three Years Before. The sea breeze seemed to whip and whirl round Lilja leaving her pale skin cold from its icy touch, yet as the wind hollowed over the cliff top it tugged at the white lace dress that covered her slim, slender figure. All the while swirling her long red hair behind her as the sea breeze left a salty texture to her cheeks.

The Woman in the White Dress
I visited my father frequently, after losing him to cancer when I was only thirty. He was a mentor, my friend, and someone that guided me through the hard times when I could not find my way. I found my way out to the cemetery, a small, old cemetery fifteen miles outside of town. I knew why he liked it, why he bought a plot at that particular place. The peace and quiet being outside the city could calm even the most restless of souls. There was a view in the summertime along the back of the old cemetery. A valley that stretched for half a mile, giving way to a line of trees to watch the dip in the evenings as it dropped below the tree line.

Waking up
Pant, pant, pant my chest is heaving horribly. The feeling of my heart ramming into my ribcage is beginning to hurt my upper body. My shaky hands reach towards my chest to keep my heart in place. This nightmare has been plaguing me for a week now. Each time I wake up with a terrible panic attack. My body is always drenched in sweat, hyperventilating like I just ran a marathon without training, heart trying to burst out of my chest, and shivering uncontrollably.

The White Cord
It was the summer of 2010. I was living in a public housing duplex by myself and working night shift at a local nursing home. One night I had a very stressful shift. We were short handed and one of the resident's I really liked died. When I got home from work that morning I ate my pancakes with a couple of shots of whisky and crashed landed on my couch. I was still in my uniform with my work shoes, gate belt and name tag on. I threw my blanket over my head and prayed that the morning sun would disappear.

Paranormal Picture
I consider my religious beliefs to be Christian. I worship Jesus and honor his sacrifice on Easter. My mental health issues sometimes hinder my ability to go to church. I'm introverted and I feel drained when I'm around other people. I don't always read my bible. I cuss when you pull out in front of me on the interstate. I am human. December 26th, 2013, I got married to my husband. Years later my strong, Christian mother-in-law gifted me this painting. This painting is a beautiful picture of Jesus praying. Hours before his execution Jesus was in a garden praying while his disciples fell asleep. His disciples are in the background in the painting. I hung this painting up in my room directly in front of my bed. I wanted it to remind me to pray. I have a habit of letting my mind get clouded and forgetting.
