No One Discusses the Tragic Shipwreck More Than the Titanic part 2.

not enough lifeboats, and poor river conditions. The malfunctioning boiler unexpectedly exploded at z am because it was unable to support the load. Although there weren't many survivors, it wasn't the only maritime calamity.

Titanic disaster had many more survivors and was widely publicized. People in Abraham Lincoln hadn't yet recovered from this news, therefore they weren't very interested in the Sultana disaster.

Many tragedies occurred recently by historical standards, but one of them took place in 2002. The Senegalese ferry, the Fairy Lejula, sailed twice weekly primarily along the coast of Dakar carrying passengers who traded mango and palm oil. It made daily voyages and never encountered serious problems because of modern rescue equipment and reliable repair services, but one day the ship's crew discovered a malfunction and sent the boat to port for nearly a year.

On September 26, 2002, the Lejula sailed between Southern Senegal and Dakar. At 11 p.m., it sailed into Gambia, where a severe storm had just started. The wind had generated big waves, but the enormous passenger ship was not in danger as long as the number of passengers didn't go above the predetermined limit.Norm Majula had a lot more passengers that day than the estimated 500 he was meant to carry.

Two masked criminals The ship suffered from poor maintenance and a severe storm, but the main cause of the shipwreck was that the Lejula was only designed for coastal waters, but on that day it sailed far from the shore.Large waves started rocking the boat, and eventually it just turned upside down. The ship's deck submerged and its lower portions remained above the water like an iceberg. All of the passengers inside the cabins fell on the ceiling and lost their sense of orientation in space.

The passengers had to wait over four days to be rescued even though the ocean was warm, and just a few of them made it out alive.
In the Philippines, which is made up of thousands of islands and a large area with shallow water, ships can run aground and sustain hull damage from reefs and pitfalls.
On September 20th, 1987, a Philippine passenger ferry called the Dona had one of the worst navigational catastrophes ever.

Paz sailed toward Manila after leaving one of the islands. The crew members didn't notice how the tanker Vector was approaching them despite the sun shining, the ocean being calm, and good visibility. The two ships collided at a low speed, but the problem was that the vector had tons of oil on board, and the donut Paws crashed into the cargo hold where that oil was stored, causing it to spill all over the ocean. Then, a spark slipped through, and not only did the two ships catch fire but also ignited the surrounding area.

On September 27, 1854, the passenger ship Arctic sailed from Liverpool to New York. As the fog rolled in and visibility became extremely poor, the French steamer Vesta appeared out of the dense white haze.Because the French ship was smaller than the Arctic and the collision between the two was inevitable, the captain of the Arctic stared at the Vesta while his boat quickly filled with water.

with people, it turned out that only 87 out of 400 people survived C5 crew members and 22 passengers, all of whom were only grown men.The ship's captain managed to survive by clinging to the wreckage. All newspapers described this incident as one of the worst and most shameful tragedies in the history of navigation.Survivors were criticized because they failed to save women and children, and the crew members were accused of breaking the law because the safety of passengers should always come first.

Thanks to modern navigation systems and radar, there are more of them than ever before, but nothing technological can ensure that there won't be a hurricane or other calamity that no one can predict.
