Asbury University is a private Christian university in Wilmore, Kentucky. Located in the south-central United States along the western side of the Appalachian Mountains, Kentucky ranks 37th in land area, with 39,732 square miles (102,907 square kilometers). The commonwealth borders seven states: Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Missouri, and Illinois.

Asbury University Fall 2016 Asbury University had a total enrollment of 1,854: 1,640 traditional undergraduates and 214 graduate students. The campus of Asbury Theological Seminary, which became a separate institution in 1922, is located across the street from Asbury University.

Bishop Asbury founded the first Methodist school in the United States west of the Appalachians, Bethel Academy, in 1790; Its site is near High Bridge, only about four miles (6 km) south of Wilmore.

On March 5, 2010, Asbury College became Asbury University. The current president is Kevin Brown, a former faculty member of the university’s Dayton School of Business. He was inaugurated as the eighteenth president on March 6, 2020.

Asbury Univesity in Kentucky

Asbury University was ranked 14th (tied) by US News & World Report in the Southern Regional Universities category in their annual Best Colleges rankings for 2022–23.

In addition to learning technical knowledge, students here participate in sports very enthusiastically and they play very well. So the sports teams in Asbury are also called the Eagles. The university is a member of NCAA Division III, competing primarily as an NCAA Extra D-III Independent under provisional/reclassified status as of the 2021–22 academic year.

It is also a member of the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA), competing primarily as an independent in the Middle East Region of the Division I level. The Eagles previously competed in The River States Conference (RSC; formerly known as the Kentucky Interscholastic Athletic Conference (KIAC) until after the 2015–16 school year) of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) from 1971–72 to 2020–21.

Asbury Tennis may refer to a tennis club, facility or organization named after the locality of Asbury. This could be a tennis club located in Asbury Park or any other area with the name Asbury.

It offers tennis courts, coaching services, tournaments, tournaments and social events for tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Asbury Tennis can be the center of the local tennis community, providing a place for players to come together, improve their skills, compete and enjoy the sport.
