Sally is no longer so cheerful

On Wednesday's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Sally Spectra showed signs that she is having some serious issues. Ridge and Steffy confronted the fashionista about her recent designs which were not up to her usually high standards. Ridge actually told his daughter the designs looked like what the red head produced while working at Spectra fashions. When Sally was confronted, she began to tremble and cry and lament that her job was all she had. She was hysterical to the point that Ridge told her to go home and take a break. On social media forums, fans of the CBS daytime drama are discussing what the problem could be. Theories being thrown out are that Sally is dealing with anxiety or panic attacks, Parkinson's disease or perhaps something more serious.

Spoiler alerts from Soap Opera Spy say that Ms. Spectra will be seeking advise from Katie Logan who recently obtained a kidney transplant. For this reason it sounds like whatever is going on is not going to be something simple. Sally did not build up to this erratic behavior over time so it was stunning to viewers and has them trying to get to the root of it all. The Bold and the Beautiful already recently had Emma’s death, and Caroline to die, even if it was off screen. Fans of Courtney Hope don’t want to see her character succumb to a terminal illness.

Those who have been watching The Bold and the Beautiful in recent months, have noticed that Sally has not had much screen time. Now that Flo is back some fans believe that Wyatt will reunite with his high school sweetheart. Shauna and Quinn are both pushing for their children to get back together but if Sally is sick this may pose a problem. The fact that Ms. Spectra's ability to create designs suggests that something possibly devastating is happening to her. In addition to extreme anxiety, or Parkinson's, she might even be dealing with a brain tumor. If her illness is dire, then Wyatt will probably remain by her side.

When Sally and Thomas were first together they seemed poised to become a power couple, but he left town to be with Caroline and nothing was ever the same. At one point viewers believed the character was being written out of the show, then later she had a moment or two with Liam. After Dollar Bill wrecked her life she was hired at Forrester Creations and began dating Wyatt. Now her career, relationship, and her health are all in jeopardy. Not long ago Sally referred to her fiancé by his brother’s name which seemed to come out of the blue. Now, looking back this slip of the lip may be related to whatever Sally is dealing with.

If something horrendous is attacking Sally’s mind and or body, Wyatt will stick with her even though on Wednesday he and Flo began to bond again. On Thursday, Katie had Wyatt, Donna, Will, Justin, and Bill all gathered in the Spencer Publications office with her niece. She told them all that she had forgiven Flo and asked each of them to do the same. Eventually they all thanked Flo for giving a kidney to her aunt and Wyatt seemed especially overjoyed. It's looking like the sparks between the once high school sweethearts is reigniting so there will truly be a love triangle between these two and Sally.

There is no way to know for certain which way things will go, but if Sally is sick she cannot perform her job to perfection. Ridge and Steffy need to beat Hope in the fashion show competition and they were counting on Ms. Spectra's designs. Thomas is working with Hope so there is no one on hand to replace Sally. Be on the lookout for updated spoilers related to Sally’s condition and continue watching this CBS daytime drama weekday afternoons. The Bold and the Beautiful airs at 2:40 PM EST. Keep up the discussions on social media groups and forums because some exciting episodes are coming soon. It’s always fun when the viewers accurately predict what is coming next so stay tuned.
