Marvel/DC Crossovers
We are talking about Marvel and DC crossovers again and this time we have 1 really fun and interactive crossover and one not so great crossover. As a fun reminder that not every comic book storyline is a winner. Crossovers are a fun way to explore new ideas and interesting storylines but sometimes they aren’t actually executed that well and that’s okay.

Unraveling the Notions of Love and Capitalism through The Maxton Hall Series
We all love the romantic trope of enemies to lovers that serves a slow burn, leaving us gasping for air amidst the sizzling chemistry of the main characters, diving us deep into the escapism of their romance. Adolescent angst and feelings take centre stage in this show, which is perfect if you enjoy typical high school teen dramas. Your heartstrings will be pulled by the series' poignant depiction of love. The series is unique because of its sharp lines, which strike a deep chord with us. Amazon Prime’s most recent release Maxton Hall embodies the romantic dramatism of the pro-capitalist enemies of lovers James and Ruby, giving us a breathtaking onscreen presence yet the predictability of the plot and the fine crevices of incompleteness in the evolution of the subplots hampers it from being a massive feature of swoonworhty foes to romantic partners. Let's dive deeper into the nuances of the series

From Plot to Characters: The Ultimate Review of The Mother of the Bride
Ever wanting to escape in the picturesque beauties of nature while aimlessly wandering in the darkness with no mobile phone or a torch, sounds like a morbid plan without thoughtful execution behind it. While it is a celebratory year as this year is marked as a renewal of the cherish of romantic comedies with movies like Anyone But You, Idea of You, Players and many more, Netflix's most recent romantic comedy released in the week of Mother’s day, The Mother of the Bride tries to sell the second chance romance in the exotic location of Phuket, Thailand, yet its formulaic plot and half baked characteristic execution makes it dull and cliched. Let's dive deeper into the nuances of the plot.

The Boys Just Made a HUGE Mistake with Starlight! Will They Regret It?
While the gruff Butcher (Karl Urban) might be a fan favorite, the show's emotional core rests on the transformations of Hughie (Jack Quaid) and Annie (Erin Moriarty). Thrust into a world-altering encounter in the pilot, they became the audience's surrogates. Unlike Butcher, who remains his delightfully crass self, Hughie and Annie have undergone dramatic journeys, evolving from wide-eyed innocents into hardened individuals forced to confront the show's brutal realities.

The Boys Season 4
Butcher is officially no longer a member of The Boys, MM kicked him out and even when Butcher came to help he was not welcomed back. The Starlighters that the crazy Homelander fans tried to frame for murder were freed because of A-Train. Butcher’s brain mass is causing him to hallucinate, MM is going a little hard into being the leader and we will see how far that gets our boys.

House of the Dragon
We are getting ready for season 2 of House of the Dragon, when the dance really starts. But before we do we should probably revisit season 1. Season 1 set up the dance and pretty much nothing else which means the things that come next have already been set in motion. I will be using Fire and Blood to attempt to determine what we might see this season while keeping in line with all the things that the tv show has changed about the characters.

The Boys Season 4, Episode 2
The first episode did kick off the season the right way, and honestly it was a lot less gory than expected. As far as violence goes, the first episode was pretty tame. The first episode actually focused more on the emotional motivations and some of the fallout from the end of last season. All it really did was set up what is expected for the rest of the season. This is your final warning for spoilers, I am literally recapping the episode so if you haven’t watched it yet, please come back later.

The Boys Season 4, Episode 1
We left off with Mauve faking her death and running away, soldier boy being put back on ice and Ryan choosing to be with Homelander. Season 3 is the penultimate season of The Boys and it promises to be more traumatizing then anything we’ve seen yet. Erik Kripke has promised that though Amazon greenlit the show for another season that season 5 will be the last season. For some reason Noir is being played by someone else as the actual Noir was killed by Homelander. So let's see what season 4 has in store for us. This is your spoiler warning, there will be spoilers. This is an episode recap so all of the spoilers that there could be, there will be.

MCU Rewatch
We are into phase 2 for our MCU rewatch and thus we have watched Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World. These are regarded as two of the worst films in the MCU so we are going to talk about them. Are they really that bad? Or was the first impression so terrible that simply no one has gone back to check in the last decade. Well we had to and the overall result is that these movies are, in fact, not great. But why? And how could we have fallen so far from the quality that was phase 1?
