Book Review: House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City series) by Sarah J Maas
This book is set in a world where humans live among fae, angels, demons, werewolves, vampires, mermaids: basically any supernatural being you could hope for. IT IS EPIC!! The supernatural beings rule all, while humans are considered second class citizens and struggle to survive.

Classic Cinema Review: 'India Song'
India Song is the story of Anne-Marie's boredom. To quell that boredom, Anne-Marie (Delphine Seyrig)—the wife of the French ambassador to India living in a colonial villa in Kolkata—embarks on a series of affairs with other consular expats. It's not the worst way to scratch ennui's itch, although the actual narrative of India Song is probably the least interesting thing about this film. India Song's storyline is so bitty that I couldn't tell you who is who between her husband, lovers, and the one she refuses to sleep with—not only does that not matter, in some ways it's purposeful. The function of story in India Song is to act as a flimsy structure for everything in the film to hang off, weave around, and subsume.

Those Who Wish Me Dead- Review
Warner Bros. faced a lot of backlash when they decided to go for a day and date Cinematic and streaming release strategy. Many people have shared their thoughts on the subject and I for one believe it helped people find movies they may have otherwise missed. Such as Those Who Wish Me Dead, a thriller that found very little box office success but yet still is a great film.

Review: "Gunpowder Milkshake"
Gunpowder Milkshake is a brash, sugar rush that at times is incredibly hard to follow but that's okay as the viewer isn't missing much apart from some gore. On the merit of an action film, it is entertaining enough but with such a talented cast it is borderline criminal not giving any of them anything to sink their teeth into. The film obviously takes a lot of inspiration from the John Wick franchise but, while Wick takes itself much more seriously, Gunpowder Milkshake dives headfirst into the insanely over the top and deeply stylized action scenes. It embraces the crazy right out from the gate.

My Review of "A Quiet Place: Part II"
A Quiet Place: Part II came out in 2020 but was lost in the shuffle of the pandemic. This story kind of hits a little close to home as the survivors of the alien invasion have been living in isolation just as long as we've lived in this current pandemic. Still there's a light at the end of the tunnel just as we feel right now after the 3rd wave of lockdowns.

My Review of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack"
Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack a movie that came out in 1988. It came out a number of years after the Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space. Luckily this does follow the storyline of the original trilogy however it's a lot different this time around.
