Yennefer Was Wrong
The Witcher series is about the eponymous Witcher Geralt of Rivia, a half-human mutant with supernatural powers he uses to hunt and kill monsters. Geralt lives in a medieval-seeming land called the Continent (another name is never given). Due to his code of neutrality called "The Path," he can serve polities on many different sides of a great conflict, as he initially provides his services to all sides with enough coin.

The Messy And Incoherent Philosophy of Diablo 4's Lilith
Diablo 4 was released this year. For the uninitiated, Diablo's universe revolves around the perpetual struggle between the forces of Heaven and Hell. Humanity is caught in the middle of this Eternal Conflict, often manipulated and used as pawns by these greater beings. Sanctuary, the world where humans reside, was co-created by Lilith, the daughter of hatred, who, in Diablo 4, returns from hell with a grand plan that supposedly revolves around aiding humanity against the forces of evil.

Hajimete no Gal
Sometimes when you go to watch something a little more digestible than what I talked about last time, you get a pleasant surprise. What is supposed to be a silly, light-hearted anime winds up covering some more serious, and important topics that we don't often see in media. That being said, if what we talk about here does look interesting, be warned that some parts of this anime are also many worlds of not okay, so we're gonna throw a content warning on the series for pedophilia due to a side character being a creep.

Ranking Pixar Movies By Era
Last but not least in our ranking of Pixar movies, we’ve got our healing era. Now this era is arguably my favorite because it really shows some growth in the company. With the exception of the very first era of films that came out of Pixar this one is the most consistent and the most solid. This era consists of 6 movies with wildly different storylines, most of which are original and extremely heartfelt.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is the latest of movie in the TMNT movie franchise. There have been numerous iterations that have come out and I've never had the same sort of great fun with them as I did with the first movie. This one was a surprising change of pace. I think it might be because they had artistic freedom to change a lot of things to fit today's social climate.

Ranking Pixar Movies By Era
In our second to last era of ranking Pixar movies we have the moving on era. It is a much shorter era than the previous one with only 4 movies. But it is absolutely an era all about moving on and leaving the past behind a little. I think the real defining factor of this era of movies is that the sequels feel pretty far divorced from their original films, and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. All that means is that these characters and the audience are different from how they started. And by most measures that’s a good thing. It shows growth and hope and the fact that an animation company was able to capture that feeling in just a few movies is an astounding thing.
