Date Night - A Movie Review
I only wanted a date night, not chasing villains all night long! Date Night spun into theaters in 2010. Phil and Claire go out on an extravagant date night. Finding themselves in a predicament way over their heads, the couple did not expect to be involved in a murder case racing around the city all night.

After multiple delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the live-action remake of Disney's classic The Little Mermaid finally made it to theatres on May 26. The lead up to the film's release was mired by controversy, first due to Disney remake fatigue, with some fans questioning why the film should be made at all, and then, of course, the backlash against the casting of African-American singer/actress Halle Bailey as the titular little mermaid, Ariel, who is White in the original animated film.

I didn't expect to come back on this platform following my three-year writing hiatus. However, two films on Netflix that I have watched recently have pushed me back into the writing world. Needless to say, I am grateful for them doing so because then I would not have had the opportunity to discuss the exploitation that institutions and the system put their people through.
The Stand (2020) Episode 3 Review
I know these reviews may seem like a broken record at this point but it has to be said again: I really don’t like the direction the creators decided to go with for Stephen King’s The Stand (2020). Episode Three, titled “Blank Page”, continues the non-linear storytelling that was used in the previous two episodes. The first focus for this episode is the character of Nadine Cross, the erstwhile bride-to-be of Randall Flagg. We also get further flashbacks of the journeys for Harold Lauder and Fran Goldsmith, specifically the time period where they met Stu Redman. We’re also given our first dip into the backstory of Nick Andros, one of the key figures in the Boulder Free Zone.
Nicholas KingPublished 11 months ago in GeeksKraven The Hunter: Villains Aren't Born, They're Made
The upcoming film, Kraven The Hunter, has been unveiled. The film will release on October 6, 2023. In "The Amazing Spider-Man No. 15" by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko from 1964, Kraven made his comic book debut. Kraven was a ruthless villain whose goal in life was to kill Spider-Man and establish himself as the world's best big-game hunter. Kraven has interacted with characters like Black Panther, Venom, and Squirrel Girl over the years, and he is finally making his way to theatre screens – however this will be a slightly different take on the fur-clad hero.
Rewatching Twilight
So it has been almost exactly 2 years since I've rewatched all the Twilight movies and they have seemed to make a resurgence on tiktok so I thought I’d join the fun. Now I would like to state that I read the books so much in middle school that my copy of New Moon fell apart at the binding. I also watched the midnight premiere of every single movie so as I document my experience rewatching these movies I don’t want to hear shit about how I’m not a real fan or whatever. I have the nostalgia attached to these films and guess what guys? They are still not good. Again, because I have said this so many times, you are allowed to like, love, enjoy anything you want but let's be honest with ourselves. Reality states that these movies are bad, and that’s okay. So here we go rewatching Twilight.

The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, recently announced new guidelines for winning the Best Picture award and being nominated. These guidelines have sparked controversy and led many to question the direction Hollywood is taking. I want to discuss how recent changes may be affecting its viewership and creative legacy.
Father's JourneyPublished 11 months ago in GeeksA Look At The Narcissist Trope In TV Shows
We all know the type, rude, crude, and cares only about themselves, the narcissist trope is a character trait that has been prevalent in television and movies for decades. While we love and hate them for being so terrible and irredeemable, the question has to be asked: “Are they truly irredeemable?"
