I say that because of a long standing theory I've believed for about nine years now: the best villainesses from any platform (including and especially Lifetime) come during the home stretch and playoffs in any sport. English actor, director, producer, and writer Leslie Howard wrote many stories and articles for The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Vanity Fair and was one of the greatest movie idols of the 1930s. Howard's WWII activities included acting and filmmaking. Tragedy struck in 1943 when the Luftwaffe (German air force) shot down BOAC Flight 77 over the Atlantic, on which he was a passenger. Howard died at the age of 50.

What Happened to 90 Minute Films?
It feels like every movie these days stretches to the past two hour mark. Take two movies I’m planning on seeing this month: Marvel’s Spider-man: Brand New Day and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. The first comes in around 2 hours and 30 minutes, the second a staggering 2 hours and 52 minutes – just barely under three whole hours.
