6 Disney Characters Who Had Different Voice Actors For Speaking And Singing
Music has always been an important part of many Disney animated films. Songs such as 'A Whole New World' from Aladdin, or 'Let It Go' from Frozen, are equally as loved as the movies themselves. Currently, in films like the recently released Encanto, it is common for songs to be performed by the existing voice cast of the films, and in some cases, such as Auli'i Cravalho's casting as the titular character in Moana, or singer/actress Mandy Moore's casting as Rapunzel in Tangled, voice actors have been chosen, at least in part, based on singing ability.

Movie Review: 'The Pink Cloud' is a Must See
The Pink Cloud was made before the pandemic hit in 2020. I have to mention this because as I lay out the description of the plot of The Pink Cloud you may find that fact hard to believe. The Pink Cloud posits a story in which a man and woman hooking up on a one night stand end up stuck together in the woman’s home when their home in Brazil is surrounded by a Pink Cloud that kills anyone it touches in a mere 10 seconds of exposure.

Lifetime Review: 'Evil Stepmom'
Twin sisters Gabriella and Annabelle Lasky (Julia Lalonde and Hannah Vandenbygaart) are driven soccer players hoping to get accepted into the same college. But in the midst of their senior year, one thing is bothering Annabelle: the fact that their father/coach Tim (Randy Thomas) has yet to get back into the dating scene since their mother's death. Not wanting her dad to be alone once she and Gabriella leave the nest, Annabelle goes about setting up a dating profile for Tim--much to the annoyance of her sister, who isn't as ready to see her father date again.

Finding a New Home
An MCU movie releases and the rumours fly! We’ve heard two major things, 1) Tom is signed on for 3 more movies and immediately after that we heard 2) That Tom was stepping away from the role and taking a break. Now the more likely option is that he is in fact signed on for more movies, there is so much more that I would love to see from Tom’s spiderman and I think that No Way Home set him up perfectly for not only more character development but also bringing in more of the Spider-verse characters into the MCU. Tom has been pushing hard for either some of the Spider woman and/or Miles Morales, here's hoping that we see both!

Villainess Review: Jade Goddard (Labor, Lies, and Murder)
I had actually known about this movie when it was listed on IMDB under its original title, Deadly Doula; though I wouldn't see an actual preview of the film until New Year's Day, which featured its new title, Labor, Lies, and Murder. The film centers on Hailey Kendricks, who is expecting her first child (a girl) with husband Joe Kendricks. Hailey wants a home birth and is looking for a doula, which leads her to Bea Wexford, a bright young woman who is eager for the opportunity to assist in the birthing process.

Film Review: 'Under the Christmas Tree'
A self-proclaimed "Christmas tree whisperer," Charlie Freemont (Tattiawna Jones) has been given a daunting challenge this December. With an ice storm having ruined Maine's original state Christmas tree, it's up to Charlie to find a suitable replacement in time for the Christmas Eve tree lighting ceremony. Fortunately, her search leads her to a perfect tree in the town of Camden. The only problem: it's the backyard of Alma Beltran (Elise Bauman). A headstrong Christmas-loving woman on the verge of taking over the family retail business, Alma has no intentions of giving up her tree. After all, it's not only been a staple of her life, but it plays a key role in Camden's own Christmas celebrations.

Villainess Review: Susanna Williams (Killer Stepmom)
A new year means many things: a new start, new plans, and Lifetime's annual batch of "Deadly Resolutions" films. Though we have been treated to quite a few good films, the one that had me counting down the days until airtime was Killer Stepmom, with the title being one obvious reason. The film centered on Brianna Williams, whose penchant for making up stories has been her undoing at school. As we have quickly seen, Brianna's acting out appears to be due to her parents' divorce, and regarding her parents, Daniel Williams and Annie O'Dowd, they decided that Brianna would be grounded while living in Daniel's home, which for Brianna, also meant the indignity of having to be around Daniel's new wife, Susanna.

Movie Review: 'Sex Appeal' is a Sex Positive Teen Comedy Lacking Its Own Identity
I’m not quite sure what to make of the new Hulu teen comedy Sex Appeal. On the one hand, it’s good to see a sex positive movie with a good message about seeking safe, consensual, and pleasurable sex. On the other hand, the jokes and characters feel lifted from various other teen comedies and sitcoms. Director Talia Osteen has made both a sex positive teen comedy and a movie about as sexy the sex talk you might get from your cool aunt.

Movie Review: 'The 355' Starring Jessica Chastain
The 355 stars Jessica Chastain as Mace, a contractor for the CIA. When Mace is betrayed during a mission to recover the ultimate, all in one, world ending MacGuffin, she goes out on her own and outside the law to find out who betrayed her. Joining Mace, eventually, on this mission is Marie Schmidt (Diane Kruger), a German operative with the same mission of getting the ultimate, all in one, world ending MacGuffin but claiming it for Germany and not letting it go to the United States intelligence apparatus.

Movie Review: 'King Car' is Bold, Weird and Stylish
King Car is a bizarre and fascinating movie. Set in modern day Brazil, the story follows a college student named Uno who, somehow, develops the ability to speak to cars. Uno, actor uncredited, was born in the back of one of his father’s taxis. This, apparently, fostered a bond between Uno and the car. That bond was broken for a time when the car saved Uno from being struck by this car driven by Uno’s mother who was distracted and didn’t know she was about to hit Uno. The car swerved itself to save Uno but was crushed in the effort and Uno’s mother was killed.
