How a Minor Harry Potter Role Became a Million‑Dollar OnlyFans Empire
Jessie Cave sat on the worn grey sofa in her London home. Her phone screen lit up with a bank notification she'd just received. She didn't check the number. She just locked the screen and turned over. Rain tapped against the window. It brought her back to that day fifteen years ago on the set of Harry Potter and the Half‑Blood Prince . She had shouted "Won‑Won" three times, the director called cut, the makeup artist rushed in to powder her face, and she stood in front of the green screen, thinking: this is it . Ten minutes of screen time, months of waiting, one fixed cheque. Back then she thought it was the beginning. Now, looking back, it looked more like a one‑off advance that would never come again.

Invented Marvel Character: Platypus
Growing up my dream job was to be a comic book artist/writer. But with very little artistic talent that dream died pretty quickly. Now I do my best to bring my characters to life using apps like factory of heroes, swordmaker, armormaker and you doodle. They don't always turn out looking very good but I get more excited about the concepts and stories behind the characters than how well I can make the character look good. Sometimes my characters are from cultures I am not a part of because I think it fits their story or other aspects about them. I am not a cultural expert but at the very least I hope no one is upset by me using aspects of cultures I'm not a part of and find interesting. That said below is my idea for Platypus, a venomous mutant hero who idolizes Wolverine.

Why Fandom Language Is a Moat, Not a Bridge — And It’s Keeping You Out
Introduction: When “Translation” Becomes an Offense In 2023, a fanfiction posted on the platform Lofter sparked a small-scale linguistic skirmish. The author wrote a scene in standard Chinese where two male characters confessed their love for each other, including the line: “I love you more than anything in this world.”

My Movie Trailer Edits - Part 1
It's been a while since I started making movie trailer edits, so I thought "why not start sharing them more than ever?". My trailer edits literally consist of trailer audio covered with footage completely comprised from another movie. It's as simple as that. Some make sense to blend together, whilst others are just nuts and crazy ideas merged into one. I guess either direction is what makes it fun in the end.

The Rose That Outlived the Gilded Age: Benjamin Guggenheim's Final Performance on the Titanic
The steward held out the lifebelt. Benjamin Guggenheim pushed the hand away. The deck was tilting. He could feel it. The slope of the wood beneath his feet was slowly, stubbornly sending everything toward the bow: an overturned chair, a stepped‑off high heel, an unclaimed leather suitcase. Screams drifted up from below, flattened into something that no longer sounded human. He turned and walked back toward his stateroom. Someone called his name from behind. He raised a hand without looking back.

The Feather That Never Came Home: Why We've Been Sanitizing Odysseus for Centuries
After the Landing: What Odyssey Adaptations Are Afraid to Sink Into the Sea The film’s final scene has Odysseus in the bedchamber, speaking to Penelope. The gist: war destroyed the common order, and he has brought deception and cruelty back home.

Fallout-Too Sweet
The whistle came from beyond the dunes, sporadic and ragged, like a dying iron beast wheezing its last. Cooper Howard crouched beneath the remains of a wind-scoured billboard, wiping the lenses of his binoculars with his sleeve. In the distance lay the Legion’s camp, the forward position, to be precise. Torches lined the sand in two columns, and in the open space between them, a man was tied to a post. From the uniform, he was NCR.
