Best Comedy Specials
I am a huge fan of stand up comedy. I think it is the best way to disconnect and turn off my analytical brain. Even if I try to watch a tv show or movie for fun I end up breaking it down and analyzing it. With stand up comedy (as that is definitely not my area of writing) there is nothing for me to analyze. That said I have seen most of the specials on Netflix as that seems to be the peak of accomplishment for comedians. And I am here with the definitive list of funniest specials on Netflix.

memento mori (Latin) /mə-ˈmen-tō-ˈmȯr-ē/ noun (plural) - "remember you must die" or a reminder of mortality Taking inspiration from this well-known Latin phrase, YouTubers Mark Fischbach and Ethan Nestor, aka Markiplier and (formerly) CrankGamePlays respectively, created a YouTube channel in 2019 by the name of "Unus Annus." In Latin, this phrase literally means "one year." If you are searching for it now, I'm sorry to say you will not find it. The guys deleted it. Yes, on purpose.

The mythology of heaven and hell has often been used in literature as a way to comment on ethics in general. Dante's Divine Comedy takes us on a journey through hell, purgatory and paradise, the most famous of these being his Inferno. Milton gave us Paradise Lost. The satirist Jonathan Swift described The Place of the Damned by its inhabitants including "Damned poets, damned critics, damned blockheads, damned knaves, damned senators bribed, damned prostitute slaves". The poet William Blake wrote The Marriage of Heaven and Hell in which he contrasts the free Dionysian spirit of hell with the authoritarian and carefully regulated, dare we say repressed, heaven.

Marielle SabbagPublished 7 months ago in GeeksVillainess Review: Marcy Eden (Perfect Strangers)
Even sitcoms aren't safe from the most heinous of villainesses. Genres that are most likely to feature villainesses include horror, thriller, crime dramas, science fiction, and especially political thrillers, but comedy is a rarity. A high-level villainess in a sitcom is in the same boat as a pitcher (not named Shohei Ohtani) hitting a home run (prior to the 2022 season), a perfect game, and a 60+ yard field goal. They are all rarities, but when they happen, it's a thing of beauty.
