Psst, Wanna See My Funkos Again?
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, the remaining eight Funko Pops in my collection, how I treasure them so. If you feel as though you may have missed something, you probably have. A month ago I posted a story about my Funko collection and this is now its part two! So, if you haven't read that yet go read that one first then hop back on over here! But for those of you who are ready to see the rest of my collection, here we go.
Psst, Wanna See My Funkos?
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, my Funko collection, how it has grown throughout the years. I currently own 16 different Funko Pops, but that number is almost guaranteed to increase when Christmas rolls around. You can call me a geek or a Funko Junkie but hey I'm cool with it and I have already accepted my geek ways.
Funkos: Are They Worth It?
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, Funkos, what crazy collectibles these little things have become. Now, you may dabble in the Funko arts and have a few, or you may be a Funko Junkie who has a serious hoarding collection going on. Or, you could be a Funko hater and think these are just some ridiculous little figures. Where do I land on this scale? Well, I'm bordering on Funko Junkie. With a total of 16 Funkos currently, I am just a wee bit obsessed with these little guys.
The Life of a Toy Store Owner
Hello, I am the founder/owner of Madcap Toys. Now before I begin, this is a personal opinion and each and every other collector will have his/her own opinion so if you don't agree with this article then that is fine because like I stated before, this is an opinion piece.
5 'Twin Peaks' Gifts for 'Twin Peaks' Friends
As I'm sure you are all aware, the Twin Peaks merchandise on the Showtime website leaves something to be desired in terms of creativity and quality. Of course there are also the obvious gifts such as the box-sets and the Funko pops, but I did some research into some of the more creative Twin Peaks gifts available. Luckily, since the airing of season three, there is suddenly a fresh flood of options regarding Twin Peaks styled things! I decided that I wanted to share with you all my favourite picks from the merchandise currently available.
Best Places to Buy Your Disney Merchandise!
Welcome all Disney nerds, fans, and nuts! As an avid Disney fan, I am constantly on the lookout for stores to shop for new and exciting Disney Merchandise. Clothes, home decor, collectables, you name it. I blow my paycheck on it. Every country and area may be different. I am in Canada and find a good selection. However the USA tends to carry WAY more cool Disney merchandise. I would love to know what places have the best stuff, where you like to find your gear, and if prices vary often.

Magic the Gathering
Magic the Gathering is probably my favorite game of all time. I thoroughly enjoy the gameplay, the collecting aspect and the social interactions. We have a local card shop that does a fantastic job advertising, providing play space and catering to the needs of players of all levels. I have quite the extensive collection and have enjoyed being a member of the magic community for quite some time.
Action Figure Review
Mattel Basic Series SummerSlam 1992 British Bulldog Everyone's favourite Manc The 'problem' with The British Bulldog (A.K.A. Davey Boy Smith) is that I could write about him forever. This guy single-handedly got me into professional wrestling. I remember watching him make his way down to the ring with Winston. His Union Jack cape proudly on display. As a young, British fan watching an all American 'sport'...he was a perfect (and instant) role model. Not only did we Brits have a legit awesome superstar represent us in the ring...but he was northern too! He may not have been technically gifted in the ring, but what he brought to the squared circle (& a generation of fans and superstars) is something never to be replicated again. His stand out moment was SummerSlam 1992. It has gone down as one of the best ever. Huge credit has to go to Bret 'The Hitman' Hart (we all know he carried the match, and so did Davey Boy Smith) but that match for the Intercontinental Championship was a milestone moment for UK wrestling fans (and future British based wrestlers). This Basic Series figure by Mattel captures DBS from that glorious night, so let's take a look and see if the toy giants did him justice.
After All These Years, How Is LEGO® Still So Popular?
Most children’s toys are a product of their respective time periods. After short-lived crazes that involved begging parents for modish knick knacks that were sure to impress the kids at school, these novelties were relegated to fad status, whereby their only responsibilities were collecting dust in the attic and attracting nostalgic folks at garage sales.
