Best Worst Spoof Movies
Spoof movies used to feature some of the best parody and satire to ever come out of Hollywood. The likes of Airplane and Young Frankenstein were some of the funniest comedies of their respective eras. Practically every genre Mel Brooks chose to parody turned into comedic gold. But in recent years the spoof movie has fallen from its previous cultural height. Somewhere along the line, people seemed to forget that making a movie parody didn’t mean copying its every plot point and making sophomoric jokes that could barely pass muster on a middle school playground. But somehow, terrible comedy writers took all of the wrong lessons from the masters of the spoof movie. In a way, the modern spoof movie is such an exquisite form of anti-comedy that their almost kind of hilarious in how unfunny they manage to be. So we’ve dug through the bottom of the barrel to bring you our picks for some of the best worst spoof movies of all time.

History of the 'Evil Dead' Franchise
A plague threatens to destroy all of mankind and the only one that can save us is a loner who is avoiding all responsibilities. The Evil Dead is an American horror film franchise created by Sam Raimi and consists of four feature films. The films revolve around the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, an ancient Sumerian text which wreaks havoc upon a group of cabin inhabitants in a wooded area in Tennessee. The protagonist, Ashley J. "Ash" Williams is the only character to appear in every installment of the original trilogy, consisting of The Evil Dead (1981), Evil Dead II (1987), and Army of Darkness (1992), all written and directed by Raimi.

History of Monopoly
Did you know that the game Monopoly was supposed to show players the negative aspects of private monopolies? With topics such as the stock exchange, bankruptcy, mortgaging, and jail, we probably should have seen how realistic this game is. A while back, comedian Louis C.K. explained what generally happened every time he and his daughters played the game together: “My six-year-old totally understands Monopoly but she isn’t quite ready for the emotional trauma of her inevitable loss. I look her dead in the face and say, ‘You see all your properties and houses and all your money? That’s mine now. Oh no, no, no, you can’t play any more because even with all your stuff, it doesn’t come close to what you owe me.’” Obviously children cannot grasp the full meaning of Monopoly, but that’s because they were not the target audience at first.

Best Stallone Movies
Sylvester Stallone is the godfather of contemporary action films. What makes him so cool is that he really is an action star. Hardcore through and through, the best Stallone movies portray anti-heroes on the verge of redemption. With salvation in sight, Stallone's embattled heroes must fight for an ideal, sacrifice something important, and risk their lives so that we may live vicariously through them. I am not talking about The Expendables Stallone, whom I thoroughly enjoyed as he led me through a nostalgic tour of my childhood heroes. I refer to the man I first remember seeing in Nighthawks. That movie was amazing. It featured the Bionic Woman herself, Lindsay Wagner. On tap as villain was the badass Nexus-6, Rutger Hauer, and riding shotgun to the hero was Lando Calrissian. Fiercely filmed stunts on the Roosevelt Island Tram hugging the Queensboro Bridge—with no green screen trickery—helped establish Sylvester Stallone as more than just a one-hit wonder with his Best Picture winner, Rocky. One year later, he solidified his role as the most important action movie star with the creation of First Blood, and the coolest badass character the world had ever seen—Rambo.

Greatest Geek Girls
It’s pretty much undeniable that geek culture has become pop culture. Not that this is a bad thing—in fact, I’d argue it’s some sort of pseudo-renaissance for the stereotypical “geek.” Geekdom is no longer something to be ashamed of, but rather an element of mainstream pride. Watching a comic book movie in the early 2000s was a completely different experience than it is now. Celebrating your favorite superheroes has gone from niche to cool. With this new development in popular culture comes the inevitable new idols whom people have grown to love. In light of this change, a steadfast characteristic of geek culture prevails: the tendency to focus more on personality than vanity. The greatest geek girls combine intelligence, a love of all things nerdy, and—of course—bombshell beauty.

Tricia Helfer has made quite a name for herself in the industry, modeling since 1992 and acting since 2000. But it's her wealth of experience that has gained her recognition within geek entertainment, bringing her to icon status in the world of science fiction. Funniest Women in Hollywood
It’s an indisputable fact that the comedy world is primarily made up of male talent. I don’t know why this seems to have happened, but a large percentage of the premier comics have been men over the past several decades. However, the tides seem to be changing. Women are taking the comedy industry by storm, and the funniest women in Hollywood are slowly taking over television and the big screen.
