'Decaf for the Dead' Excerpt: Chapter One
There is a season for everything. A season for change, and a season for rebirth. A season to live, and even a season to die. For me, fall is that season. There is no rebirth anymore, just death. Several years ago, on a breezy October Sunday morning, I lost everything when my wife, Margaux, passed away. The worst part is she died alone. I was off being a romantic, sneaking out early to grab her coffee from her favorite café. Oh how she loved her coffee! Strong, black, and decaf. No one understood her taste for coffee—sans caffeine on top of it!

Gay Theory
Without much thought, Thomas would scroll through YouTube and eventually end up at a random animation, animal video, or blooper compilation. However, there would be times where Logan would take control and Thomas would randomly get the idea to look for notifications for the Film Theory channel and lightly scowl due to the lack of the desired notification, bringing Thomas back to randomly scrolling before the teacher went on his own little binge fest.

All 3 Fallen Movies RANKED From Worst to Best!
Before I even start this article, I just want to clear this up: I am not a huge fan of this series in general. I think they're B-grade action movies and even though I love hard-R throwback action thrillers, I think this series wastes its potential on stories that are either familiar or forgettable.

7 Times When 'Harry Potter' Was Basically 'Scooby Doo'
I had a startling revelation recently about Harry Potter that completely changed how I view the series. It all happened when I was on vacation and bought Stephen King’s son Joe Hill’s most recent book, The Fireman. It’s been compared to his version of his father’s post-apocalyptic story The Stand. The Fireman is a tale about a world being burned down by a mysterious fungal spore that cause people to spontaneously combust. The main protagonist gets infected shortly after she gets pregnant. Her last dying wish is to somehow give birth to her child while staying alive amidst a world that is quickly burning down. If you have no idea how this relates to Harry Potter, just give it a minute.

The Devil Went Down to the Thomasphere
It was Halloween and the Sides thought it would be a good idea to mix things up a little for their costumes. There was a mixture of dedication (Logan putting a lot of research into looking like a victim of the "Russian Sleep Experiment") dedication mixed with laziness (Roman carrying a syringe with an air bubble, a jar full of bugs, and a bloody knife and referring to himself only as the "Secret Admirer") an attempt to be somewhat fitting for the season (Patton dressed as the Woofman again, but with the description that zombies don't eat dogs), and what was perceived as complete laziness (Virgil dressed in a black and purple western outfit with a violin in his hand and referring to himself as the one thing that can withstand The Devil). The group was chatting around and discussing things from Halloween jokes to films Virgil could trick Roman into watching, even to maximum amount of candy Thomas should have that should keep him away from a multitude of health risks.
