Campfire Date Night at Home [Printable Included]
By Sandy Lo There is nothing more romantic than snuggling by a fire with your significant other. But not everyone has a fireplace or backyard for a big fire pit. We certainly don't! Steven and I have an electric fireplace in our living room, but we definitely can't roast marshmallows in it and our condo just doesn't have the same effect I was looking for when I was thinking about a campfire date night.
Lovers Who Play Together Stay Together
By Steven A. Clubb Video games have been a part of my life since I was 6 years old. My brother Kenny convinced my parents to buy me a Play Station and the critically acclaimed classic game “Final Fantasy 7”. After popping in the first disc of three, I was hooked. From then on, I wanted to try any game I could get my hands on.
Valentine's Date Night At Home [Printable Included]
By Sandy Lo I know, I know, everyone says Valentine's Day is just a stupid commercial holiday to make single people feel lonely and to make women wish their men were more romantic. But even when I was single, I enjoyed Valentine's Day. In fact, I enjoy themes in general so I'm always looking forward to an excuse to have a themed evening!
Get Inspired: Date Nights At-Home!
By Sandy Lo My boyfriend, Steven, and I have been together for over five months and are always looking for new date night ideas. Sure, we go out to dinner, catch a movie, have game nights with friends and family, but once a month we try to have a date night at home – just us two, well, and our bunny Zuko might stick his curious nose into our activities once in a while.
Spa Date Night At Home [Printable Included]
By Sandy Lo It’s no secret that I’m a hopeless romantic. Hello, I’m a romance author for crying out loud! I thought that meant I was doomed to be disappointed in love my entire life because nothing or no one would live up to the perfect romantic scenarios I created in my head and wrote in my books.
One Year Ago Today...
By Sandy Lo The day started out like any other. That’s actually a lie, it was better than any other day. In fact, the entire year had been better than all of the rest. Everything changed last December 31st. That was when I met him. Kaiden. I was supposed to meet some asshole from a dating app for a drink. I hadn’t done much dating in my life, especially not on some crappy app that made it impossible to actually connect with someone. But it was New Year’s Eve and I was tired of being alone, so I thought 2022 would be different. I downloaded a handful of apps, swiped right on a bunch of random guys without much thought, and made a last-minute date with an attractive doctor. That is if he was even really a doctor.
By Sandy Lo Opening her eyes, Mattie saw the familiar bright blue-green water surrounding her. She heard one of the handlers describe the color as teal once. Words are fuzzy for Mattie, but she enjoys them. The sound of them, the different tones of the humans' voices when they say them. She can tell what kind of day they are having when she hears their greetings, even from the floor of her enclosure, she somehow knows.
'Wakanda Forever' Gives Us the Closure We Needed
By Steven A. Clubb and Sandy Lo Losing a loved one is always difficult, but with some help and support, we get through it in our own time, at our own pace. Wakanda Forever is a movie about saying goodbye to loved ones while learning to heal and how, sometimes, through our pain, we come out stronger and find our purpose. With the loss of T’Challa, Wakanda and his family are left without a king and protector.
