I Care A Lot(2021)- Review
"Are you a lamb or a lion?" Most con movies are based on this simple principle of animals, eat or be eaten, showcasing the protagonist as a highly ambitious unempathetic person who will stop at no end to complete their con; to game the system, breaking rules and laws. While most of the general characteristics meet with the protagonist of I Care A Lot, Marla Grayson (Rosamund Pike), but she does her grifts in line with the system and the laws. The scam is simple yet brilliant. Marla finds naïve elderly clients who have considerable assets and wealth. After spotting these potential clients, she convinces the court to grant her guardianship of these elderly people, on the grounds that they cannot function well by themselves. After being appointed their guardian she racks up money by utilizing their assets. The business is going well and Marla is enjoying life with her girlfriend and business partner Fran (Eiza Gonzalez). But the story gets less colorful when she ends up taking charge of a woman who seemed a simple catch but turned out to have dangerous connections.

Can We Stop Praising 'Lost in Translation'?
I was an undergrad when everyone was touting Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation as artistic and edgy. So, like every other kid in my dorm at the time, I tapped into the campus DC++, added it to my download queue, and gave it a watch.
Al OpenbookPublished 3 years ago in Geeks Book Review: "Friends and Relations" by Elizabeth Bowen
Elizabeth Bowen was known as one of the great female writers of the modern era. Personally, I have loved her books "The Death of the Heart" and "The House in Paris" for their incredible depictions of the human conditions that are far superior to the writings of authors like Edith Wharton. Bowen is often underrated and her books under-read, he characters are under-appreciated and her concepts lack a more modern understanding. I am sure that if you were however, to read the two previous novels mentioned, you would find that Elizabeth Bowen has a much greater charm for the nature of human relationships than many other female writers of her day.

Due to CBS coverage of NCAA Basketball Championship, The Young and the Restless will not air on Friday or Monday. Thursday’s episode is what is being shown online for March 19th. If you already viewed it you know that Ashland Locke made his deal with Victor and Adam and later saw his wife in a serious conversation with Kyle. Victoria shared with her mother that she is afraid her father will use this new acquisition to come against Chancecom and Billy. Nikki is trying to be the peacemaker in the family as usual.

I am a person who likes to watch different genres of movies. It's funny now that I think about it because growing up the TV was not a huge presence in my memories at all, and what I do remember is that we had three channels. Of those channels I remember only being really interested in Saturday morning cartoons and Sunday evening 6 pm Disney movies.

The Importance Of The Superhero Sub-Genre.
"The Superhero genre should die!." Above is a quote I've heard and seen pretty frequently online on places like youtube and Reddit, also within plenty of articles. I believe the section be very hyperbolic, but I can visualize a level of understanding toward it.

Steven LeitmanPublished 3 years ago in GeeksComfort Shows: An Amateur's Guide
I'll start this with a confession: I rarely watch new shows. As a sufferer of anxiety and depression, I rarely can or want to get stuck into something new, often using TV as background noise for writing, or scrolling through social media (confession #2: it's almost always the latter). As I type this, the TV is blaring out season 9 episode 20 of The Big Bang Theory. Have I watched this show umpteen times? Yes. Am I paying much attention to what's going on? No. Am I going to keep it on anyway? Hell yes.
C. N. C. HarrisPublished 3 years ago in GeeksCelebrating BLM w/ "Hidden Figures"
Now, more than ever, is the time for reflection on the topic of “Black Lives Matter”. And what better way to reflect on this than with the film, Hidden Figures! A masterpiece in showcasing to the world just how much black lives matter, Hidden Figures is the “behind-the-scenes” story of three African American women whose brains helped lead NASA to unprecedented heights. An epitome for “it’s the inside that counts”, if there ever was one!
