Jessica FreebornPublished 3 years ago in GeeksFalcon and Winter Soldier
Of course the internet has been speculating about what this show would hold since before the conclusion of WandaVision, and I am willing to bet most of that speculation is wrong as it was with WandaVision because you people can’t seem to come up with fan theories that make any kind of sense. But we’re off to a great start it's been rumoured for the last week that the first episode of the new series was to be titles “Rest in Peace Cap” causing the internet to frantically theorize about whether or not that was death to Steve Rodgers or death to the legacy title of Captain America...well it actually doesn’t matter as the actual title for the first episode is “New World Order” so here we go, week one of Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished 3 years ago in GeeksBotia: A D&D Story
I’ve been playing video games for most of my life. Mainly RPGs, because of the escapism, immersion, stories, visuals, etc. I always got a kick out of the games that gave me more freedom to control my characters’ actions and decisions. If you’re curious, some of my favourite RPGs are: Oblivion, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, and Divinity: Original Sin II. There are tons more I have enjoyed over the years, but those ones stand out for me. But then, I turned my attention towards Dungeons and Dragons. When I really got into learning about D&D, I realized that it’s the perfect RPG. I know that long time fans of the game will be rolling their eyes at this, but I only just learned about how colossal D&D’s influence has been all throughout gaming culture, and I realized that it is the epitome of this gaming genre.
The Last Ronin #1 Director's Cut
LIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD for The Last Ronin #1 The Last Ronin is a landmark story for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It feels like the start of a new direction and has the possibility of fresh opportunities. This is strange, though, as the concept was laid out in 1987. Luckily for us, the old idea was dug up and is being modernized and presented now. The book's format is a larger size with bigger panels and a longer length for a more cinematic experience that makes the book stand out. To top it all off, though, and really connect the dots on the story and whole idea, a director’s cut of the first issue was released this week. The timing on this feels pretty good between the second and third issues as it spoils a few things slightly and confirms a few others while leaving you still more excited for what’s to come. Although there is TMNT lore within the story, anyone can jump into The Last Ronin and start with the director’s cut.

Sean PatrickPublished 3 years ago in GeeksIf This, Then That
If that, Then this Being a script writer or any type of writer to be exact take more than just writing. It's also about researching what's out there in the general public and what makes that project so popular. In the past couple of years I got back engaged with television. I stop because I thought it was just a waste of time but recently I learned that you can learn from any source of publication that is out there nowadays. Just know what to believe and what not to believe because well some people use their gifts and talents to misinterpreted others. I been watching cable show's, Netflix, Amazon prime, and recently got introduce to Flix Tor. One of my favorite shows I have to tune in on my CW app. That show is none other than All American. I been watching All American well over a year now and it is a show that kept my attention ever since. It's base on a true story about an African-American professional football player Spencer Paysinger. Though I don't know anything about Spencer Paysinger I do know most of the things detailed in this show is about him. It's one of those show's that teaches you about social awareness and striving for your dreams. It's base on a highschool football player trying to make it to the pros. As he well on his way he had obstacles he had to over come. I like this show because well I'm a African-American and I feel connected to this tale because it share similarities to my upbringing. Though I never played football in highschool I did wanted to but my grandmother thought I would get hurt. I'm more intrigued by the writer and how he break down the elements of struggle. Though Beverly hills is a wealthy successful neighborhood the children from there still struggle with there own life problems. Olivia struggle with addiction, Asher struggle with his parents separation and steroids. Layla struggle from mental problems past on by her decease mom and her feelings for Spencer. Yeah it's even more but another reason I like this show is because it's a show that's break's through the racial burial's. Showing inter-racial relationship's and solving problems together no matter your ethnic background.
Anthony HillPublished 3 years ago in GeeksNB Reviews: "Nomadland"
I'm a bit of a film buff, to say the least. Every year, I try to watch every single Academy Award for Best Picture nominee. Including the boring ones meant to try and get George Clooney or Glen Close a nomination. Especially those ones. And I found the nominees this year so interesting that I'd like to talk about each one of them. So, I'll be reviewing all 8 in the lead up to Oscar night. In order from worst to best (in my personal opinion).
