I pedaled hard at the sight of the green light and quickly made my way across the street. As I pulled onto the minor two-lane road, I felt a sense of relief at not having to worry about traffic. I started riding my bike as a kind of therapy a few years back after losing my best friend, Ray, and have been going ever since.

Happy Birthday, Kenz
“We’re almost there, Kenzie,” said Jana as she looked across the desolated wreckage of her old neighborhood. Lifting her hooded head, Kenzie glanced at the piles of rubble briefly and then turned warily back to Jana. With her bandana and goggles on, Jana couldn’t exactly read her little sister much; and anymore, she felt like they were growing apart. Kenzie hadn’t said much since the bombs had dropped.

The Last Ronin #1 Director's Cut
LIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD for The Last Ronin #1 The Last Ronin is a landmark story for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It feels like the start of a new direction and has the possibility of fresh opportunities. This is strange, though, as the concept was laid out in 1987. Luckily for us, the old idea was dug up and is being modernized and presented now. The book's format is a larger size with bigger panels and a longer length for a more cinematic experience that makes the book stand out. To top it all off, though, and really connect the dots on the story and whole idea, a director’s cut of the first issue was released this week. The timing on this feels pretty good between the second and third issues as it spoils a few things slightly and confirms a few others while leaving you still more excited for what’s to come. Although there is TMNT lore within the story, anyone can jump into The Last Ronin and start with the director’s cut.

A Harmonious Encounter
Maggie hastily jotted down the rest of the sentence in her little black notebook. She had found her groove, and the words had just been flowing today. The girl could barely get them written down fast enough. It was closing in on dinner time, though, and she still had to make the walk back home. She glanced over the page and nodded before closing the book and stuffing the pen into her pocket. She took out her phone and put in her headphones before pushing play. “The Rocky Road to Dublin” by The Dropkick Murphys kicked in the headphones as she stood up and headed out of the woods towards the trail.

The Snyder Cut is ComingTop Story - March 2021
Prepare Yourself for...Something We are less than a month away from The Snyder Cut of Justice League's release on HBO Max. As we speak, there is probably another story getting prepared for release with more teaser photos or spoilers, as that's the way it's been weekly for the last few months. There has been so much hype, time, and effort spent on this movie that it will be the worst misstep since Batman V Superman, no wait, Harley Quinn, or maybe the plot of Wonder Woman 1984, or it will be the greatest superhero movie ever and seemingly one of the greatest films in recent times. While I’m not sure that it’s going to impress many on any level, it no doubt does have its significance.
