Here we go again! Here’s this week’s celebrity news roundup:

• Records Made at the Grammy’s

The Grammy held this week and there were some big winners. Beyonce, who had passed on performing at the Grammy’s, attended the ceremony and broke a record becoming the most awarded singer in history with 28 wins. She had been nominated for 9 awards in this year’s Grammy’s and won four out of the ten - best music video for Brown Skin Girl, best rap performance and rap song with Megan Thee Stallion for Savage Remix, and best R&B performance for Black Parade. With her 28 wins, Beyonce overtook Alison Krauss who had hitherto held the record. Krauss has 27 Grammy award wins and 42 nominations.

Beyonce also broke the record as the most nominated female artist.

Another singer that broke a record was Taylor Swift. Swift became the first woman to win the Album of the Year prize three times when her album Folklore won the award this year. She had previously won the same award for her 2009 album Fearless and her 2016 album 1989. The only other singers to have performed this feat were Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon.

Another record that was made was Beyonce’s and Megan Thee Stallion’s win for their collaboration on the remix on Megan Thee Stallion’s Savage. They became the first pair of women to win the best rap performance award.

Other big winners were Billie Eilish who won Record of the Year for her song Everything I Wanted; H.E.R. won Song of the Year for her song I Can’t Breathe; Bad Bunny won Best Latin Pop or Urban Album for his album YHLQMDLG; Dua Lipa won Best Pop Vocal Album for her album Future Nostalgia; Harry Styles won Best Pop Solo Performance for his song Watermelon Sugar; and Megan Thee Stallion again won Best New Artist.

Congratulations to the winners.

In terms of performances, the small and intimate event, hosted by Trevor Noah, featured at least one controversial performance that made the news. Cardi B's and Megan Thee Stallion’s WAP performance was panned by many viewers for being too raunchy. Complaints were also made to the FCC about this. Yikes.
