Heermandi: The Diamond Bazaar Web Series Review

Guys, although I have already reviewed the show Heeramandi titled "Heeramandi Web Series Review: Worthless for Me", not much special content has been coming out recently. So, I thought, why not watch Heeramandi once again?

Now, for my courage, I demand Bharat Ratna from the government, but I will not do so. I believe I deserve the Padma Vibhushan for my patience, but I don't want it. In the name of profit, I only ask for the return of the eight hours that I wasted on this series.

It is not that this show is not beautiful, it is not that the artist did not do a good job in it, and it is not that it did not arouse my interest at one time. But friend, who makes such a long series, it means that the earth can be measured four times with the reel of this web series. Imagine, it took me three days to watch it; there was no sign of ending.

Heermandi Web Series Review

Let me tell you, this series is based on the fictional story of the time before independence. There is a market called Heeramandi, where all the women have been kept to amuse the hearts of the Nawab's of that time.

The Nawab's rule Heeramandi, which was given to them by the British themselves.

Now the reason behind the British showering so much love on the Nawab's was that the British had entangled the Nawab's in Heeramandi so that they could stay away from the fight for freedom and keep drowning in the quagmire of debauchery.

The owner of Heeramandi is Malikajaan, i.e., Manisha Koirala, who is a very greedy, cunning, and cold-hearted woman. Many courtesans in her palace kept entertaining the hearts of the rulers and the British. Meanwhile, a love story, the era of independence, the story of a spy, and political games have also been shown.

Now, every content definitely has some positive or negative points, but first of all, I will take you towards the positives.

Positive Points

Bansali Brand sets are installed on a big blank canvas. Every frame looks very beautiful. After installing 30 lakh chandeliers and laying 20 lakh carpets, this show has been filled with colors from all over the world, from costumes to music, and that classical touch is visible.

This entire web series deserves a 10 out of 10 rating for its beautiful set design. Without any doubt, Bhansali Ji's direction is also good. However, all this goodness fades away in the face of one negative aspect, just like the parrots of Mumbai Indians flying this time in the IPL.

Negative Points

If the editor had not edited this show, one would have had to take seven lives to watch its eight episodes, and then the eighth episode would have remained in suspense.

Shekhar Suman, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadda, Farida Jalal, Fardin Khan, Sanjeeda Sheikh. After including so many stars in this show, I could not remember their characters.

Now, you ask Bhansali Saab why he filled so many characters. Well, so much time was taken to tell and show the story that by the time this story is concluded, perhaps your patience will break and become a Niagara fall.

The set of Kamatipura from Gangubai Kathiawadi has been brightened up and transformed into the set of Heeramandi, where the Gangubai set is clearly visible. But since it is the work of Bhansali Saab, who are we to criticize it?

Well, there are many such scenes in this series that you cannot watch with children because they will not be watched even by you. And this is the beauty of this story. Let me tell you that along with three kilos of depression in emotions, there is also a touch of 400 grams of tragedy in this entire web series.

It is said that this is the most expensive and best web series in India. Netflix is known for spending a lot of money anyway. When the name of Bhansali Ji is mentioned, everyone trusts it. But to tell you the truth, everyone can't finish this web series in one sitting.

In conclusion, I have done my work, and you should do yours. If you feel it's worth watching, then watch it. Otherwise, not watching it won't make a big difference in your life. However, not subscribing to me will make a big difference for me. So, don't leave without subscribing.
