Hello my dear ones, I watched a web series on miniTV named Jamnapaar. It seems that Amazon miniTV people will sigh by closing everyone's shops because they have quality content.
This series has ten episodes. Each episode is 30 to 35 minutes long. I binge-watched it. Even after the series was over, I wondered whether it was necessary to end it.
Look, the series is fun to watch, but its special thing is that it is very relatable, even if you are not from Jamnapaar or Delhi, you will still feel the connection. This series teaches some very good things about life.
Many times, today's children feel, "My life, my rules," and the words of their parents and their thoughts seem small to them. After reading some books, they start feeling that no one should teach them anything; they already know everything.
Jamnapaar Amazon miniTV Review
This is the story of a boy named Shantanu Bansal. He is a guy from Jamnapaar, i.e., Lakshmi Nagar of East Delhi, and is a final year CA student. Even his father is also a CA and is currently running coaching classes.
Now Shantanu, a.k.a. Shanky, has big dreams - money, a top-class lifestyle, traveling around, and being cool; all these are on his favorite list.
Later, Shanky starts feeling suffocated while living in Jamnapaar. Even when told that he is from Jamnapaar, he feels shy. It really happens if someone says they are from Jamnapaar, it is possible that they may be judged and considered inferior.
So this main center point of the series is that Shantanu does not have to live with this Jamnapaar tag. He wants to get rid of his own identity, for which he gives his best. That means he even leaves his home, and after that, a lot of things happen to him.
You have to see in this series what storm this attempt by Shanky to forcefully enter into the crowd of cool people brings, and especially what price he will have to pay for it.
Actor Performance
To be honest, the concept and presentation are good. Ritvik Sahore is in the lead, and this guy will win your heart again for sure, all thanks to his performance. He is too good. By the way, if you have seen Ritvik's previous movies or shows, then I am damn sure you will be aware of his performance level and versatility.
This time too, Ritvik Sahore has portrayed his character in such a way that you will feel a connection, and whatever happens with his character, you will mentally go through it too. This is the mark of a good actor who makes you feel what the character is feeling.
Not only Ritvik Sahore, but other actors are also good, like Srishti Rindani, Varun Badola, Ankita Sahigal, and Raghu Ram.
Apart from this, the background music was very good, especially Ikka's song regarding "Jamnapaar" is fun to listen to.
Conclusion
So, if you like watching family versus self stories, if you enjoyed creations like "Dehati Ladke," "Half CA," or "Khosla ka Ghosla," then do not miss this series. The best thing is that you can watch this series for free on the Amazon miniTV app.
In short, projects worth Rs 100 to Rs 200 crore that are not able to do wonders these days, such creations can do wonders. On top of that, it is free, so why miss it? Watch it and tell me how you liked the show "Jamnapaar." I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to subscribe, like, or comment.
