Curtis and Taggert could be on opposite sides

Now that Marcus Taggert is back in Port Charles there are a number of things that could go wrong. If Curtis was not in on the faked death he will be angry with Jordan for not telling him. Portia and Trina will be upset that they mourned for Taggert in vain. Jordan mentioned last week that Epiphany slowed the detective's heart rate so that he would appear dead. It’s not clear who else was in on the hoax but when Taggert emerges the fur will fly. Some spoilers have suggested that Sonny and Jason may have been the ones to suggest this tactic but neither has said anything that confirms this theory.

Now that Mike is declining and Jason is recovering in the hospital Sonny may not be able to focus on his plans for Mr. Renault. He will also be distracted by the fact that Wiley has been kidnapped and Brook Lynn is in the hospital fighting for her life. With all of the sorrow and heartache in Port Charles, Taggert might wish he had remained in hiding. As long as he heeds Jordan and remains out of sight he won't be affected by what is currently happening in Port Charles, but once more people know he is not dead thsi is when the dominoes will begin to fall.

Marcus may not be Trina's father.

Back in the day, Jordan and Taggert were partners only, but that could change. She is secretly talking to him or a burner phone and meeting with him behind her husband's back. Curtis and Portia have been talking a lot more and an interesting revelation came forth last week. Trinia's mom admitted to Curtis that her feelings for him are what ended her marriage and not Taggert's career. It looks like the writers may be trying to set up problems for the Ashfords that would lead them to the arms of others. There is also the fact that many viewers believe Trina is the daughter of the private eye and not the detective.

There are a lot of loose ends where Cyrus Renault is concerned as well as a lot of deception. Madame Mayor Laura and head of the Port Charles detectives, Mac Scorpio are completely in the dark about all that is going on. There could be other hospital personnel besides Epiphany who know the truth. In addition to Sonny and Jason, Dr. Finn was standing by when Taggert was pronounced dead. Once Cyrus is dealt with and Marcus comes forth his daughter could be more angry than happy. Trina will not like being lied to and may spirial out of control.

Portia, Trina, and Taggert

General Hospital has not announced how long Real Andrews will stick around this time, but it will be long enough for a lot of drama with Cyrus Renault. Will Taggert be the one to kill him, or will it be Curtis or Jason? Perhaps the drug Lord may be taken in alive. Viewers know he has Harmony on his payroll because he purchased her a new vehicle. The storyline seems to be going in the direction that Brando might be working for the kingpin as well. No one knows for certain who is in the corner of Mr. Renault and this will keep the storyline interesting.

If it turns out that Curtis really is Trina's biological dad this will definitely shift everything. Jordan will feel left out as her husband and Portia now have something that will bond them. Taggert will be destroyed and he and Jordan might find common ground by leaning on one another, Trina is already emotional because she believes Curtis let her father die and then Jordan ruined his name. These new developments might prove too much for the teenager. She could possibly hold it against her dad that he allowed her to believe he had been killed. Stay tuned to General Hospital to find out how this situation is finalized.
