Friday on General Hospital Liesl Obrecht was in rare form. While her good friend Franco was being seen in the clinic, Dr. Kirk was trying to collect on what Liesl promised him. Dr. Kirk was smitten with Dr.O she but mislead him. He believed she would give him romantic favors if he sent Dante Falconeri to get the goods on Peter August and clear her name. Liesel never intended for there to be anything between them and called him a “schwine” (swine) in her German accent behind his back. When Kirk tried to initiate a romantic dalliance Liesl resisted. A scuffle ensued and they fought over a knife Obrecht found.

Scott Baldwin came through the door and attempted to rescue his son’s good friend but Dr. Kirk fell on his own knife and Obrecht pronounced him dead. Scott and Liesl are now partners in crime and will more than likely hide all the other bidence instead of calling the police. This leaves Dante without his mentor to give him instructions. Perhaps it was Obrecht who was pulling the strings all along. She may now be the one to give Dante his marching orders that is if Scott does not blow her cover. With Kirk dead, Franco may have lost his best chance at obtaining the medical assistance he needs.

Franco’s health care s on the line so will Lieslbstep in to do surgery and save him. This is a possibility as she is wacky and anything is possible where Obrecht is concerned. She also gets away with her crimes because Nelle is dead and there is no one to tell the tale that Obrecht helped her give birth.Viewers will now be wondering how Dante will be able to complete the mission without Dr. Kirk. Does aobrecht know that clicking an ink pen will put Sonny’s first born in fighting mode? How will she and aScitt erase the evidence of their crime??Both are prone to make by disastrous yet humerus decisions so there may be a bit of comedy involving these two.

Long time General Hospital viewers are happy to see Ken Shriner on the screen and Kathleen Goti’s devotees truly enjoy her character’s antics. This Dr. Kirk situations n could lead to as Brecht returning to Port Charles sooner than expected. She will naturally want to be near Franco but cannot risk being in the open.Because Peter framed her Liesel will have to remain in the shadows until Mr. August is dealt with. Will she share every detail with Scott and will he keep her secrets? Can Obrecht convince Franco’s dad to help her clear her name?

Dante has not yet been able to complete his mission so going forward it will be interesting to watch all of this play out. Somehow the truth must be revealed and Maxie’s heart will be broken. Spinelli and Jason are also trying to get the goods on Mr. August and perhaps aobrecht return is a sign that things are about to heat up. Robert Scorpio also knows that Peters hands are dirty and he wants the truth revealed as well. Peter does not know that Alex is his mother and if this comes out it will destroy him. The truth that he was behind Drew’s death, the attempt on Franco and framed the grandmother of Maxie’s child will be his ultimate downfall.

Dante is a wild card who is triggered by the clicking of an ink pen but it’s not clear if a Liesel knows about this or perhaps she is the one who gave he idea to Dr. Kirk. Obrecht will be cleared but will she return to the Cassadine estate or reside somewhere else? Britt, Franco, and Maxie all turned on her so there will be a lot of emotions to be dealt with. Julian Jerome and Cyrus Renault have been dominating the storylines but the Peter August / Obrecht saga needs to be concluded. Be sure to tune in Monday and find out how Scott and Obrecht deal with Dr. Kirk’s death. Welcome back Kathleen Gati, your fans have been waiting for you to rise and shine.
