Why is India's gaming industry booming?
India's booming gaming industry is worth $930 million and is the world's largest. India is the world's second-largest internet consumer, with over 560 million subscribers.
The Sims: My Journey
In 1991, a fire raged across Oakland, California, destroying many homes in its path, and one such home belonged to a computer game developer named Will Wright. While constructing and decorating his new house, Wright was inspired to make a dollhouse simulator where a group of simulated people, named Sims, would walk through and evaluate the players' build. Eventually, the Sims themselves became the focus of the game and the eponymous series would go on to become a multi-billion dollar franchise over the course of many generations. In particular, the series may have very well changed my own life as it is.
Breath of the Wild: Sequel of Sequels
It's been nearly four years since the gaming community was finally able to experience one of the most highly anticipated releases in game history. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild brought a breath of fresh air to the iconic franchise by giving players the freedom of open world exploration and abandoning the strictly linear experience that plagued the many entries that preceded it. It was a welcome change from the small contained world of Skyward Sword with an overworld profoundly larger than any other and the ability to go anywhere the player wished once the first area was completed.
Mandatory Online Gaming
Am I the only one who doesn't like online gaming? I shouldn't say I don't like it, but I certainly don't see the attraction of playing with people I don't know. Maybe that's just me. I would much rather play with my friends, and I don't mean having them at their house while I'm at mine. I want to be in the same room. I bet I'm in the minority, but I really miss split-screen gaming.
Simulations & My Dream Open-World Video Game
After Mr. Musk has brought it up a few times, whether on a podcast or within a tweet, the concept of us being in a simulation is quite the conversation starter. How, all this time, humanity has been trapped in such an advanced, believable virtual world manipulated by a greater power. Like how you would control your video game avatar in his/her virtual world.
The streets were quiet downtown during the week. Most businesses were closed due to this global pandemic. Unsettlement and uncertainty for many had gloomed over. Restlessness indoors overcame, yet the need to connect to something other than your own surroundings was prominent. With an overcast of clouds and silence outdoors, some would say a great day for a reflective walk. You never know what thoughts or sites you are going to connect with, or find in this case.
Gaming Technology Has Helped Us Get Through The Pandemic
Technology plays a big role in shaping our lives. In today’s time, one cannot imagine surviving without technological support of any kind. The Covid 19 pandemic has wreaked havoc in everyone’s lives, and normalcy seemed to come to a standstill for quite a few months. Technology is the only thing that kept the entire world running. Without it, there would have been no chances of survival. It has helped us get through the pandemic in many ways, and here are a few of those.
The status of iGaming licenses in Italy in 2020-2021
Italy's gaming regulator now faces pushback from several iGaming license holders in the country after the ADM Customs and Monopolies Agency decided not to extend the licenses of several prominent casino brands in the country, whose licenses expired at the end of October.
Video games that changed the world
Games are an integral part of the entertainment culture, just like any film or book. Perhaps even more, given the growth of the market. Call of Duty's annual releases are a real event. At the time of its release, millions of people take a vacation, open a pack of chips, take out of the refrigerator soda and immerse themselves in hostilities.
The Genshin Condition
I believe it can be safely said that 2020 has been rough, while there have been some upsides to this train wreck of a year a few really jump out at me and "Genshin Impact" is one of them. Featuring detailed character models, spectacular splash art, beautiful environments, and engaging combat I knew this game would be a hit. "Genshin" brought along all the hallmarks of an enjoyable game as well as some other neat features that made it a fast favorite as it gained a dedicated following.
Nba 2k21 players rating
With the 2019-20 season finally complete, 2K Sports is revealing fresh player ratings for the latest edition of "NBA 2K." Here's a shocker: LeBron James holds the top rating in "NBA 2K21" at 98 overall. The Lakers star has now been rated at 98 overall or higher eight times in his career. Not bad for a guy who is about to turn 36 in December.
Why do game studios insist on mini-games?
If we compare statistics today and back at the beginning of the 2000's we can notice how rapidly video game development went ahead. Indeed there were games that completely changed the concept of video gaming such as Half-Life, GTA: San Andreas, and Assassin’s creed, but the hype we see today is nothing compared to these ones.
