Passing the Torch Arc Three (Volume 1)

[ Arc Three ] - The grandson of the sword-smith embarks on a quest to train a pupil who can manipulate fire.

Chapter 1: Reflections

By gazing into the ancient mirror mounted on the intricately carved walls of the Shira Temple, I witnessed the profound transformation that had taken place within me. The Kingdom of Spirits had bestowed upon me a new form, one imbued with the wisdom and power accumulated throughout my arduous journey. Now, I stood on the precipice of a new adventure, within the realms of the earthly plane.

By looking into the mirror mounted on the Shira Temple's wall, I was able to see my new form created from my experience in the Kingdom of Spirits. My journey had taken me to the land of Earth, where I would seek out a young boy who had retained the ability of fire manipulation, now that I was back in the world of the living.

"Before I left, Lord Maro Maro mentioned this boy. I wondered if this would expose me to the same dangers as the Kingdom of Spirits."

Chapter 2: The Ember's Legacy

Returning to the world of the living, my purpose became clear: to seek out a young boy who possessed a rare gift—the ability to manipulate fire. Legends spoke of an ancient prophecy, foretelling the rise of a new generation of warriors, destined to protect the realms from imminent darkness. This boy, with his untamed flames, held the key to unlocking the next chapter of our saga.

I'd never ventured outside of my home in the land of flames. This new plateau appeared strange, with trees, tropical birds, and mountains stretching as far as the eye could see. At first, the air smelled of a rich texture, sweet to the scent.

"My power from the Kingdom of Spirits had rubbed off on me.With my newfound ability as the Torch Swordsman, I knew deep down that I could withstand any amount of pain required to defeat my enemies."

Chapter 3: Embers Awaken

In a small village nestled amidst verdant hills and whispering forests, I discovered the young prodigy named Hiro. His fiery abilities were already a source of fascination and concern within the community. Drawn to the raw power pulsating within him, I became his mentor, guiding him along the treacherous path towards harnessing his gift. Little did he know that his journey would intertwine with the ancient legacy of the Shira Clan.

My primary goal as a child was to follow in the footsteps of the samurai. Knowing how far I'd come in the last few years, I knew this would be my destiny, even if becoming a spirit slayer ended up being my new path ahead of me. There had been plenty of wildlife in the land of Earth, perhaps finding a quicker way through this region would allow me a faster way to locate the boy.

"Nothing would prepare for what would come next, holding on the Minaro sword tight I felt the humming vibration as danger approached me."

Chapter 4: The Trials of Flame

Together, Hiro and I embarked on a quest to master the flames that danced within his soul. Along our journey, we encountered formidable adversaries and mysterious allies, each with their own hidden agendas. As Hiro's powers grew, so too did the shadows that lurked in the corners of our world, threatening to plunge it into eternal darkness.

My path had narrowed since learning of the fate of the Shira Clan of the flame village. My name is Zata Jr, and I am from the land of Earth tasked with guiding a powerful kaiju egg.

"When my family first brought home the egg, the ground had not stopped trembling for three days."
