Games for the Non-Gamers

Hello! This is a post for the girls dating dudes who are gamers and for the dudes dating gamer girls. There are many games, which are easy and fun to learn. Here is a list of games you can play together.

1. The obvious one is Mario Kart. You cannot go wrong with this game. Anyone can play it, and it's fun even if you are not very good at it. It is something you can learn to be better at. This game is often perceived as childish, but it is a good place to start. It is however, quite fast and if you are not used to the speed provided it's a great start.
2. Ultimate Ninja Storm Four. This one you just need to review the buttons and see what does what. Ask your partner to give you a chance to explore the buttons and their functions. It is easy because you don't have to control a view point (which can be difficult when starting out) the great thing about it is that you can use different characters that have different powers so it can be exciting to explore the different characters. This game is based off of Naruto, so if you want some context, watch a few episodes.
3. Any of the Lego games such as Harry Potter or Batman or Indiana Jones. My personal favourite is the Pirates of the Caribbean. In these games you cannot lose, no matter how bad you are at them. Mostly, you follow along the story line so you know what you're doing, if you've watched the movies. Also, it is easy to understand.
4. The Guitar Hero. Everyone knows how the game works. You play the buttons as they appear on the screen. Pretty easy! Guitar Hero is much more fun when playing with someone else.
5. Diablo. Yes, you run around killing things and no view point to control. If you like zombie related things then this is yours to play. This can be a little dark for some of you out there. If you like creating a character and getting into the game then this is where to start. There are different classes to choose from, so there is more of a creative aspect to it.
6. Naughty Bear. Anyone can play this. However, you are killing teddy bears but there isn't anything dark or scary jumping out at you so if you like light hearted cheekiness then this is something you can play! Also, if it makes you feel any better the other bears were bullying him.
7. Final Fantasy. The music score is impeccable and you can create a character level up and get good at games. Many people just like to play Final Fantasy and nothing else, which is fine. Final Fantasy can get very complex, but it is an easy and fun game to start at.
8. World of Warcraft. Yes, this is another known title to those that are casual gamers. It is easy (until a certain point) and it's a lot like Final Fantasy where you don't have much gaming responsibility and you can level up pretty fast.
9. Persona 4. This is more of a game that has more of the story and less of the playing. The character is given to you but every choice you make influences the end of the game, so it's cool in that sense. You follow along the story, so you need to pay attention to what is going on.
10. Magica. Magica is simple and nothing complicated to play. You have a character and you can choose a class. It's better to play with your partner because it's cheeky and not dark. The game is a lot of fun and there aren't many dark scenes happening. It is a little fast paced though, and you can have a guide when you first start.
