"No body can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say" Jimmy said while he looked at his brother through the cockpit window. His chin resting on his thumb and index finger in a mocking attempt to convey intellectual thought.

"Dammit Jimmy" Allan said as he pounded on the ships window. "I am not yelling into the vacuum of space. I am yelling at my idiot brother through an intercom. Now let me in before we both get blown up."

"You know this button is pretty tough to push sometimes. I might neeeeed." Jimmy paused for a second to think of the proper leverage. "Oh about a weeks rations to regain my strength after pushing it"

"A weeks rations" yelled Allan. "You conniv" He suddenly stopped talking, looked to the left while pushing away from the ship and attempting to lean as far back as possible. A laser beam buzzed between Allan and the ship lighting everything a bright red. He floated backwards until he hit the end of his tether with a jolt. He grabbed the tether and started to pull himself back toward the ship.

Jimmy laughed believing his position was strengthened. "That was a pretty close one brother. Its looking pretty dicey out there. Now about that weeks rations"

Allan waited until he get back to the ship at look at his brothers face to continue the conversation. "If you don't let me in right now I will never tell you what planet Felicia lives on." It was the one thing that Allan knew Jimmy could not say no to.

"Felicia" Jimmy said as he slipped into a slight trance, a smile fell on his face as he thought of her black curly hair, caramel skin and piecing green eyes. They only had a brief meeting on the docks of Nalagon, but those few moments are forever imprinted on Jimmy's mind. He had doubts as to wither Allan knew where Felicia lived, but the chance to meet her again was some thing he could not risk. Jimmy shook out of the trance and reluctantly said "There" as he pushed the button to open the air locks.

Allan made the way along the ship toward the air lock doors. The magnetic boot forced a jerky gate as they attached and released from the ship. He looked up and could see the dog fight happening between the Centralist and the Uprising. Lasers flying every direction with the occasional explosion on the surface of a ship, and debris being thrown into the void of space.

There are those that would view Jimmy's treatment of Allan as callus and malicious, but the truth is his actions toward his brother come from extreme confidence in Allan's ability to survive. Allan possessed a combination of athleticism, intellect, and reflexes that placed him in his brothers mind as almost immortal. No matter the situation Allan always came out on top. It was this confidence that allowed Jimmy to enjoy seeing Allan struggle. The way Allan can distort his face when he has to move quick is a source of amusement to him. He has studied his facial expressions in slow motion. Both on video and the moments that seemed move in slow motion. He his convinced that for Allan to move he must first move his mustache. He would always say "Where the mustache goes Allan goes." He couldn't wait to look at the dash cam and point to Allan's mustache when he dodged the laser.

Allan entered the ship took off his helmet and made way to the cockpit. Upon entering He through his gloves at Jimmy hitting him in the back of the head. "If we ever find mom I'm telling on you" He said.

"If we find mom?" Jimmy replied with a hint of frustration.

"When we find mom, IF you don't get us killed or arrested with this nonsense." Allan replied.

"It's a dangerous job but somebodies gotta do it" Jimmy said as h turned the captains seat and started the engines.e

"That's the thing its not a job, because we are just paying off your gambling debts and we wouldn't have to do it if you weren't indebted to the Gatalon mob. If the Centralist had boarded this ship and found the arms we are running. That would have been the end of both of us. You are lucky the Uprising attacked and you have a brother that knows how to by pass a drive lock."

Jimmy spun his seat around an said "We gotta get out of here. If you want to continue ranting. You can do it in your diary."

"Oh, sure, now you want to get moving. By the way its not a diary. Its a Captains Log O.K."

"What ever makes you feel better." Jimmy said with a wave of the hand as he set the ship on coordinate to the drop.

"The Centralist probably have our ships ID from the lock. After we unload the guns we'll need to find a Centralist station and tell them about the attack and our daring escape from the Uprising. While you unload, I'll reset the engine lock so it looks like the main ship released the lock" said Allan.

"Sounds good" replied Jimmy.

"I'm going to go take a nap, wake me when we get to Farlotum." Allan said as he turned to walk to the back of the ship.

Jimmy said with a snaky tone "Are you going to write in your diary."

"It's a Captains Log" Allan yelled back. As he entered his room he could see the battle between the Uprising and Centralist getting smaller and smaller out his window. When it became to small to recognize he rolled over and went to sleep.
