It's Time to Go 'Full Centaur'
If you had asked me two years ago, I would've said that I was ambivalent about spiritual matters. I wouldn't have classed myself as an unbeliever; I simply would've said I hadn't been fully convinced yet. Part of me would have gladly accepted the existence of fairies, sprites, and any other number of non-corporeal entities. (To be honest, I would have been pretty excited about any of that - I mean, how cool would just one of those be?)
Christopher DonovanPublished 3 years ago in Futurism Bo-Katan Actress Wants To See This Certain Mandalorian Make A Live-Action Cameo
On the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian, viewers were treated to appearances by characters from other Star Wars media, including the realm of animation. With characters like Bo-Katan Kryze and Ahsoka Tano making the transition from The Clone Wars to the live-action front, or even Cobb Vanth jumping from the pages of the Aftermath novels to the screen, the franchise has proven that almost no character is off limits. We even got to see Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker in the season 2 finale (results of which have gotten admittedly mixed reception). Fans who have read or watched other Star Wars media feel rewarded, while newcomers who get interested in faces who are newer to them become curious and want to dig through the Star Wars catalog to learn more.

The Muppets and Star Wars have more in common than you would think. 3D CGI was not a thing in 1980 when Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back was released. So, to create the strange, cool, and interesting creatures and characters, Lucasfilm had to use puppets…or more accurately, Muppets.

City of Ankh 3030 The mirrored skyscrapers towered over the city of Ankh. Within these high rise walls, the affluent residents frowned down upon the bustling streets below. These windows were a looking glass for the inhabitants into a world that many had not physically entered since the outbreak. The city center had one building, the Exodus Corporation Tower, that loomed menacingly over the rest.

Are we defined by when we are born? Is a preemie who was supposed to be born two to three months later and spends the first few months of his/her/their life in an incubator going to have the same zodiac sign as a fully developed healthy baby who was born at the same time? Or would the preemie have a personality that reflects when he/she/they would have been born healthy?

Samantha RosePublished 3 years ago in FuturismHoarse Wishes
We have all heard the saying if wishes were horses. In fact, it became incredibly relevant in the year 2130. That was the year that the world went dark. The society we had made for ourselves had finally taken it too far and we paid for our hubris in spades.

It goes like this: If you know me at all, you’d know that I’ve never been one to believe in astrology. I’ve always thought it was, well… kind of dumb. I mean, seriously. Your whole personality being judged by a set of stars? Sort of far-fetched, don’t you think?

Hel is a place where an ocean has no waves, where a desert has no dunes, where light is mere darkness in the black. There, is neither searing heat nor blistering chill, only a stale wind of muted whispers. It is a hard place, an empty place, devoid of all but slated stone shattered by the hammer of time unto coarse gray sands upon the salted shore of a great, endless, deafening, nothing.

Our family always wondered where Grandpa Joe had gotten the money to start the ranch, all those years ago. The story that he told us was that during the Great Depression, his family had been on the brink of losing their farm. He told us that he had taken on a few extra jobs, and eventually had enough money to grow crops on the farm, and to buy horses. I always thought there was more to the story. Today, the ranch has grown massively, and has become a very profitable family business. We grow wheat, barley, and canola. We have horses for lessons, with acres for riding. We also have a bed and breakfast.
